UPDATE: After patch 1.15.21 I recommend using the tall fences, just fence your hose/side of shed in the same area as your garden. The update made it possible for animals to get across the shorter fence. It seems like the Hangouts lead from one character suggesting who to hang out with for each subsequent one. Kaida initially suggested to hang out with Gabriel who suggested befriending Ryan, who brought up Lucy and perhaps Lucy will bring up someone while hanging out with her? Wonder if anyone will suggest hanging out with Hanako and her not so pleasant attitude? 😆

Wonder if the Farmer's Market event only lasts 3 hours no matter what time you get there and trigger it to start or if the earlier you get there, it always ends at 13:00 regardless? If it can go longer than 3 hours, maybe you can sell more items possibly then? Might also want to price out what those same potatos you sold there would sell for if you sold them at the grocery store or restaurant directly instead?

I actually did something similar as you here but also went to the garden center shop and bought a pack each of the organic carrot, tomato, basil, and sunflower seeds there (as those seeds allow a novice gardener level to plant them whereas their other organic seeds available required a higher gardening level to do so) the first day of the game and proceeded to plant them that night as well during the 21:15 stoppage time to get a head start on our farming skills. Each pack provided 15 seeds and the basil will mature at the same time as the potatos so I figured I'd have a whole whopping two different items to sell at the Farmer's Market event that I grew on my farm. Whoopee! 😤

If you want to go overboard, you can actually cut down the bamboo everywhere and sell the sticks and bamboo shoots you obtain from doing so as well. It doesn't sell for as much (shoots sell for 1.00Cupule each and the sticks for 0.10Cupule each) as the berries go for but seeing as how bamboo is literally everywhere, one could potentially get 100,000Cupules by the second day in the demo quite possibly? 🤔 Couldn't find a place to buy the grass you can also obtain. Darn. 😁
