Loved making silage years ago. It was fun then now it's just sad seeing such large kit employing so few people.
Awsome.
Its a dying tradition making silage the old way. And bet the driver own this outfit. banks own most of the modern outfits. Loved video keep up the good work.
@iilikecereal Sometimes you do get a like to the cattle, however, you have to renember farming is a business, not a hobby. In britain, those farmers who run a farm more as a hobby, don't make a profit and have long gone. Those dairy farms left are bussiness rather than hobbys and when a cow has to be put down, you just have to keep going.
do u ever get attached to youre cattle and dont want to let them die?
@Dal3C Thanks, and there is something much nicer about using an traditional set up rather than getting the contractors in! I don't really use this channel much, and only check it really every other week. My new channel is called: friesiancowboy
@tractorboydavid cant find that name.suggest a vid!
@delidan1 i don't use this account any more, however, thank you for the sugestion (check out friesianbowboy)
do a slurry tanker vid!
did ye film this with a 3310 or somethin christ
@jasonmushersee yeah thats so when the auto-scrapers come down the other pasage ways ( this one dosent have one) the scraper dosent have to stop inside the shed. the tank leads to a bigger tank which you can see in one of my videos
@friesiancowboy Yeah, the hopper (holding tank) under the slats looks to be outside the building and not inside.
@jasonmushersee do you mean the slats or where the farm yard muck is?
I've never seen the manure hopper outside the building like that. Is there a pump in there or is it gravity flow to a pit?
@tractorboydavid yeah me too
@Bo94DK nicely said, i hate bastards like that who think they are clever going around say everyone is shit, but in actuall fact i recon that dousch cant even drive a fucking tractor!
old school?? I feel old now.
@corkguy09 and why is that? just because you drive ''big'' jd's and all of that crap!Ha try be one of those ''poor farmers'' then youll see why we arent upgrading to the bigger!
Excactly haha
@PhilipDougherty this bloody tractor is getting a new engine in it, only costing around £3,500!!
@TheBarony1 automatic feeders cost like 20,000, this only costed £100
@cornel490 nah its not she has been replaced by a newholland t6070 now anyways
@MultiShelbourne yeah its ours, although we sold it now
@lordnazgul100 sounds very simular haha
same, i like spreading chite exept when polythene wrap finds its way into the muck somehow and blocks the chains up, then......a whole range of colourful language is used!!!
@Jackh56402 135hp mate
was the driver call sam, and i know krone driver rob!
me again loving the vids, i also use to work on the barracks cutting the airfield and camp!
its the candy boys, i use to work for them, thats matt in one of claas's and ziggy on terra gator!
is this by hullavington barracks mate?
cool mc cormack and feeder r they urs
why has this video got 11,191 views? its a tractor...?
@smithyMX135 the loader is to big for the tractor really so it needs extra balnce. we have sold are mx120 now and in febuary we bought a t6070 , both are very good tractors although the mx120 liked to drink fuel
une belle mf 27
music wins
@endamc79 probally is =P

@endamc79 no ours is newer and bigger, watch video ist cut silage 2009 of mine cause its in there
is it the same as mine? See video.
@MichaelTheSilageMan Thanks =P
@endamc79 kuhn mounted mower ;)
oh right and what type of mower?
@odelsgut thanks
@endamc79 ts115a
what did the mowing? Nicely mowed.
@MF2904wd Sorry its atchally a Q65
@870wingmstr well 70% of the time these cows will be outisde in the summer so it dosent fair too badly but one slight problem is the shit gets stuck dry to the floor and have to use tractor too clear them instead of automatic scrapers
How does that clear roof work out in the summer? Do you run a lot of fans?
@jdman2kp well the reason for that is because the crop has bent over quite alot in the wind and the rainand kept jaming up the combine
@lliving4today Thanks!
