This is the second video where I show how to get the maximum electric miles out of your Prius Prime. I have a 2017 Prius Prime Advanced. I have over 20,000 miles on my car and am thoroughly enjoying it. I know this video is long, but I did not want anybody saying I tried to trick them or that I really didn't get the amount of miles claimed. At the end of this video, I reveal how many miles I got on this particular day of driving. Since then, I have pushed it even further and did better.

In this video, I show you how to get maximum electric miles from your Prius Prime (way more than Toyota claims you get.) I have been using this technique for about 5 months and have been consistently getting over 30 miles plus on my trips. I take my son to school every day which is 35.1 miles round trip. In this and the next video, I show you how I do it. Thanks to Brian for filming for me.

This is a comparison between my 2010 Prius and my 2017 Prius Prime Advanced. I compared my 2017 driving (2010 Prius) vs. my 2018 driving (2017 Prius Prime). Even though the older Prius is an amazingly efficient vehicle, you will be even more impressed with the results of the Prius Prime. This is a data driven video, so if you're nerdy like me, you will really like this.

Just a quick tip for making sure you are not overweight in your rig. If you haven't used it for a long while, take it out. If it's summer, you may not need those winter things, etc...

I had to take a trip from Florida to Indiana. I was gone for a week and put on over 2400 miles. I endured freezing temperatures, snow, rain, and mountains. My Prius Prime performed great. This is a quick video showing my mpg over the course of a week. Enjoy!
