@@anthonygroves16 I use a source audio pedalboard and i use the ventris, nemesis, and artifakt i like the shimmer mode where i programmed my expression pedal to increase the shimmer on the ventris reverb. you should check them out. im gonna try to get a pog. your sound earns my sub

@@anthonygroves16 I have a source audio pedalboard and I use some synth-esc sounds with the ventris, nemesis, and artifakt whenever I play at youth group. I use the shimmer setting on the Ventris and I use an expression pedal to control the shimmer while also controlling volume. but I'm gonna have to get a pog at some point and then put in my diy midi 5 pin input so I can control it via my midi controller.btw your sound earns my sub. keep it up all us worship guitarists!

@@anthonygroves16 i would definitely suggest checking out the source audio nemesis and ventris and the artifakt. in my humble opinion i think they are better and save more space than the strymon bigsky and timeline.

I appreciate it bro! I mix everything in post via my daw, so on stage I’m actually record all the tracks live. Then I mix it later. I also use Luke Hendrickson’s template and recommend plugins which make a huge difference

Facts bro! I can agree. Strymon definitely changed the game like 10 years ago, and has been the goat for years. But with modern times, the Meris stuff is just better in practically every category. I wish the editor was better and we had one for the MERCX, but it’ll come. The Bigsky MX was just a big swing and miss, if they had did a bigger overhaul on the Bigsky. I guarantee Strymon would still be on top, but they played it safe and it’s gonna bite them in the butt later.

The point is I can't find diso plus in europe (i'm from Italy) and if i decide to buy it from pinstripe website, passing through the customs it might be a problem due to the price. I'm pretty sure i will pay some extra fees. Is WA Canvas Stereo good too?

Yeah with the tonex you’ll definitely want something that can flip phase for you. There are cheap options if getting a diso is hard where you are at. The easiest and cheapest solution would be to just flip that phase at the board. You’ll have have to do that everywhere you go. Goodwood also makes a good di you can use to flip phase, or use there interfaces to do that into your canvas. The last way would be to get a phase reverse xlr adapter, they make them so you plug them right into your xlr, then plug that into your di. And it will flip the phase

Yeah not in a guitar world. Give that try and let me know the results. I have done that before when buffers were the new cool thing. They add noise to your signal, increasing the noise floor. So running 3 buffers into each other, one right after another would have definitely cause noise issues.

So the case I have is the case that came with the board. It’s a Blackbird 1224 alchemy board with the ATA case. They are hard to find now, because the company doesn’t make them anymore. But it first all the pedals and the riser perfectly.
