Another Terrible Day Animatic
I'll be honest, I did not expect to have as much fun drawing Mr. D as I did. I was just doodling while listening to the musical, decided to try drawing him out (he is not the usual character type that I draw), and almost immediately realized I had to do this song next. This song overall was just so much fun to play around with, I hope you enjoy it!

This got randomly recommended to me. and I have to say, this video is *amazing*. Especially since I am currently obsessing over PJO. There is so much to love there.. and I have yet to read the books lmao! And I love how Mr D looks similar to the cartoony Beetlejuice.. those two would 100% share a drink and a few grumbles about mortals Edit: the subtitles are *GOLD*

"Bring on any challenge" The gods really took that literally, girl held up the sky, was able to use Daedalus' laptop, was part of the seven in the next great prophecy, went to Tartarus, SURVIVED it and all before she was 17

Dionysus is usually a goofy mischief maker. It’s an interesting twist to see him as a grumpy guy who REALLY hates his job because his wife got literally dumped by a hero.
Why they be fist pumping for so long it looks like Annabeth wants to pull him in there classic tackle kiss

This is absolutely amazing. It genuinely made me feel so emotional when Annabeth was talking about her family and went down to the ground and then Percy helped her up. This is beautiful. Also the way you did the sword fight was amazing!

Little detail I don’t think anyone else mentioned is in the scene where Selena is holding a flower and Mr.D says he loves you not all but one petal falls off.I like this detail because yk the stereotypical flower thing where they pull flower petals and say he loves me he loves me not and whatever the last petal is is the correct answer. So Mr. D saying he loves you not when only one petal remains shows that he really does love her and that he loves me is the correct answer ( sorry if this made no sense)

Hmm a lot of people have mentioned Beetlejuice/Alex Brightman, and that was certainly an inspiration! But that was the only conscious influence that I can think of lol, the rest was just how I pictured Mr. D!
