The romantic and sexual tension between Bruce and Barbara was off the charts in this episode. Love Barbara's annoyance with Bruce because she can't admit her attraction to him. Their sexual frustration leads them to sublimate it by crime fighting.

Batgirl deliberately puts her life in danger because she is willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good. She considers herself expendable but she does not know that she will NEVER be expendable to the Dynamic Duo! The thought of Batgirl being in danger drives Batman crazy. He is head over heels for her! Catwoman practically called Batman and Robin Batgirl's boyfriends. They went such extreme lengths to save her because they know that they need her by their side.
