You can play with just the phone itself. You don't need a monitor but it helps for a larger viewing area.

NICE WORK YEA NOT MANY VIDEOS OUT ON THIS HOWEVER THESE ARE PICKY WITH DIRTY OIL THE OIL CHANGE WITH AA CONDITIONER MAY HAVE FIXED IT DIRTY OIL CAN CAUSE ALL TYPES OF WEIRD ISSUES WITH THE VVT SOLENOID THE OCV'S THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ETC BUT LIKE A COMMENT I SAW U DO THAT HARD JOB BUT TAKE IT TO GET AN EASY OIL CHANGE DONE 😅😅 LOL HEY TO EACH THEIR OWN 😂😂
Crap man how u go about locating that lil part!:(
Help please I can’t locate it
Dam Bro should just change the oil while you got it up off the ground, save yourself 50-100 dollar billz. I'm trying to clear codes on a 2014 Malibu, what a pain in the arse. Thank you
Talk about a rookie..that was like feeling around in the dark
Put it in neutral then revit it up and quickly slam it into drive. If it will go, get it up to about 60 mph and throw it into park. Then put it back in neutral and revit it up and slam it into reverse. Next accelerate to about 50 mph in reverse and slam it in park. Then repeat the same thing for first gear. If this fixes the problem your good to go. It probably wont but now you'll need to go have the transmission rebuilt for sure.
It’s a broken forward band if you can still move it in manual 1-2
👀 How certain are you on this because I'm literally having the same exact issue?
2007 Grand Prix GXP. 143000 miles. Same exact problem. YOu are not alone.
I have the same '07 Grand Prix GXP with the same exact issue, no forward motion in Drive, only in MANUAL/tapSHIFT. I'd really love to know what is being done to fix this issue. I love these Grand Prix, I have an '04 Grand Prix GT and an '07 Grand Prix GXP!
Did see where you took off from
Can you pleeease tell me the area your in up under the car? What is it close to the transmission? The oil filter? Please help!!
It’s on the engine block from the other side

Did you drain the oil?

Best video

My arms are tired from trying to use a brake caliper tool! Dam I should have watched this video first. I'll be back at it in the morning.
Sounds like you're rod bearings if you still have the trailblazer.
Check your trans fluid with the engine running on this car. Most cars in fact. I think Honda is the only exception. Make sure you're level and shift through all gears and return to park.
I'm having exactly the same issue! How did you fix it in the end mate?
Yup same problem 🙂
@@graemeglasgow4596 let me know if you fix it mate!
Connecting rod bearing issue
I got code p06DE
Did this repair work for your P06DE?
They bend the pipes
I got soo fucking pissed when I found this out. wheels off and everything!
Thanks for the heads up about screwing in the caliper piston.
You saved me so much time brother thanks for the share!!!!
Mines is a 2008 base model and it will only drive on number 1 now
Wow Mines a 2007 base model and it on moves in 1 really Slow. What is going on?
Good luck getting that clip off . It ain't gonna happen.
Just happened to me today. Did your check engine light come on at all and throw a code?
I had similar issues I replaced my idle tensioner my idler I replaced my lower steering pump over even replaced my altenator well it was the water pump making the most noise and I still have slapping chain sounds coming from the engine so im replacing the valve cover gasket to see if there's anything wrong with my chain and I had some oil in my plugs
What are the symptoms when it gose bad?
What size socket was it to take it off
If I'm not mistaken it was a long 18mm
Hello there im having the same problem when come to a stop motor wants to shut off, did the spark plugs as well but is still doing it but it has not thrown a code of any kind at this point but the motor is shaking like that as well.
Was one of the coil packs. If you don't know which one then you can disconnect 1 spark plug wire at a time and listen if the motor stays the same. If the wire you disconnect is a good one then the motor should sound/get worse. The bad one will not not change how the motor sound or stop the shaking. It'll stay the same.
@@hamldna ok thank you very much I appreciate it.
Should of had the code P06de for that particular part… the oil pressure solenoid is P06dc
Did it fix your code p06de problem ..? I have the same code but I can’t find a video that can help me out
@@Latin__boy yes I did the oil pressure switch as in the video but I did the oil pressure solenoid which is located near the oil filter… it’s covered by a heat shield 10mm bolt… now if you replace both and still have problems it could be the oil pump worse case scenario
@@Savage7mileKilla thanks I’ll do that hopefully it fix it and I’ll let you know thanks
@@Latin__boy do you have any stalling issues??
@@Savage7mileKilla sometimes
I replaced the squeaking on the tensioner and belt 97 blazer and started clunking noise so I took off the belt and it stop not a rode idk if it's fan clutch or water pump
This oil pressure sensor will make you think you have a fuel pump problem as well which you have one in the tank and a high pressure fuel pump on the side of cylinder head. Will let car run may shut down then start later when in warm state then act up .
The transmission routinely gets too hot because stupid GM made some cars with the radiator end caps on the sides instead of the top and bottom. Therefore they have to put the transmission cooler in the side oriented vertically instead of in the bottom horizontally. The radiator is 30 degrees hotter in the top than the bottom--about 215 versus 185. The upper part of the transmission cooler is always too hot. Transmissions need to stay below 200. An auxiliary cooler will prevent 90% of the problems if installed soon enough before too much damage is done. Dumb ass GM engineers.
I actually put a bigger trans cooler in 3 years prior to the trans going out. Aghhhh
The top is the output from the transmission the bottom is the return line going back to the trans
I have the same noise on my 2002 with 250,000 miles, but only when it's hot. When it's cold it sounds like a new motor. other than the noise it runs and drives like a new truck. I will remove the belt and see if the noise goes away
Mine also makes rod knocking noise but engine runs fine code reader says healthy engine.
Get a new transmission
It's your water pump
Idk why these so called mechanics say it's the fan clutch when it's not. In fact I've never heard any fan clutch make such a noise. Your specific noise is worn out timing chain guides causing slack in the chain. To fix this issue you need to replace the timing chain & guides
