Here's a mostly finished demo for a track I started on a few months ago, hope y'all enjoy o7 Aside from the breakbeats, all samples are from songs on Bakground's "UNRELEASED MATERIAL VOL. 1." That EP is currently lost media to anyone who didn't already have it afaik, as Bakround removed it off his Bandcamp page and none of the track from it have been archived here on YT. I might archive it myself at some point if no one else does, though the fact that it hasn't been uploaded by any of the channel's I'd have expected to have already done so does make me wonder if there's a reason why no one's tried to archive it so far. Edit: Turns out someone actually just uploaded the EP to RUclips 3 days ago lol.

Hope y'all enjoy o7 Also, since I've seen a few people curious about what exactly Drumfunk is and how it differs from other genres, the first song in this mix is probably one of the best examples of Drumfunk I'm aware of. Everything else is Jungle. I'll definitely get around to making a full guide to Drumfunk at some point as part of my genre guide series, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

Dude once again you are putting out straight fire. I love how you mix, you keep energy high while providing such good timing, build ups, and transitions. Also you ear/mind for what song will mix well and transition well amazes me. I basically download every song you put in these mixed to add to my own collection for my mixes i play at home. How do you go about selecting song/how can i gain a deeper library of good music? I just feel like you must have 100s of songs for each genre that are all fire! I listen to alot of mixes and just get tracks off them using an mp3 converter (i know not the best but its all i know). Do you just collect as you go? Whats your method for collecting and building a mix? Sorry for the long post and questions, you just inspire me alot lol!

Phenomenal guide as always! One of my favorite tracks from Machine Girl “Lifeforce” draws a ton of inspiration from darkcore and darkside jungle, so I am really fond of this mix and the vibes that are explored 🔥🔥
