This Album changed my life. I used to hear my brother play it down the hallway when I was 9 years old which would have been around 1983-4... then, when I was 16 I was watching VH1 and they used to play old episodes of Saturday Night Live with the musical guests footage. These dudes came out and did the most amazing performance I'd ever seen before. I immediately went out and bought this album. To this day I dreamed about having a band that could cover and play the whole thing. My band at least did play in a big country, and we had two guitars and lots of good guitar pedals so we made it happen. It was a lot of fun. My brother passed away recently but he and I used to play Chance in our band I'll try together. I had the song book for this. They had no tab in those books back then just chord diagrams that weren't right.... but I didn't need tabs because I had every second of every guitar part burned into my brain! On the inside cover of the book, the band had some statement where they talked about the music and the quote was " this is music to move mountains by". It really is. This upload sounds a lot different from my old cassette! I can hear all kinds of details I've never heard.

On vinyl at my newly acquired apartment and a cassette in my 82 VW Scirocco. 21 y.o. having the time of my life! These lads played up the coast a ways but the show was definitely worth the drive!

Stayed at no1 for one week. This when music was at its best.

I saw them live on the crossing tour. Incredible show!
