I haven’t done my Wasgij puzzle yet I’m worried it’s going to be hard and I’m not in the mood for a stressful puzzle… Just excited and hopeful for a great year this year. Hair color change can definitely help you feel more invigorated for sure! I think you have some great goals.

Glad you are feeling better! I always go straight to urgent care because usually they do all tests needed 😅. I tried doing a speed puzzle long time ago but I am not good at taking the time 😂 The Tanzania puzzle is stunning I love images with sunsets or sunrises. Loved the video 💜

I did try a couple of small count wasjigs but didn't really take to them. My daughter loves doing them although I don't know if she still does any. I can well remember the need to go to the bathroom in the later stages of pregnancy. Wishing you well for the rest of your pregnancy. 👶

Honestly, I think it's that the Ravenburger puzzles are kind of hard as a rule. I'm not sure how to explain it though.

Both puzzles look so fun! I really like your setup seeing a bit of yourself it seems more personalized than just the puzzle :) The 200 is really beautiful, I'll definitely check out that collection! I've been doing some 100 piece puzzles lately while the kids do something else and 15 minutes is all I have unfortunately 😅

Yes, I would have finished it. I've done 2 others in the Villainous series. Caption hook and queen of hearts. I always end up doing the edges last. They are dark puzzles. Good job! Good video.

I did a puzzle competition at 6 months pregnant and it went pretty well, but back was sore at the end. Just an FYI in case it helps with your planning. Enjoying your channel.

I actually liked your "green era" of hair. I thought the green was quite pretty with your lovely skin tone. Once my hair turns completely white I want to do something fun like bright purple. LOL

Hi Bri - fun puzzling with you! That was a cool twist of a puzzle. From what I can tell, Galison has been switching manufactures and the die cut. They always have the same white paper backing, but looks like the newer puzzles have the two in/two out pieces. Older versions of the same puzzle had all of the standard puzzle shapes. Also, their quality seems to be all over the place. Guessing that they are trying to produce the cheapest puzzles possible.

Do you talk while doing your puzzles? It would have been interesting to hear your toughts live! I'm so expressive I always talk and exclaim as I go 😅 the initial momentum of building the tree with all the little islands of ornements and angels was so fun! As for christmas, every year since I had my first born I do a restrospective book with infographics on my child's (and now children) development, weekly pictures on a growth chart and photos of their interests and what we have done that year and that's the christmas present I give to my parents and in-laws (and myself!), so no christmas shopping ! I don't even give presents to my children since they receive A MILLION presents from everyone else 😂 Next christmas you'll have a little one with you, hope you enjoy your last adults-only holiday season 😊

Merry Xmas! I’m just staying at home mostly with my husband. Open presents, have a nice dinner, watch movies/tv shows, and do some deliveries! As for SG, yeah, he did the games for his daughter to have a future! He goes back to end it all once and for all for season 2!

Oh, I'd love this one, I think, since I'm also a big fan of coloring. Not a Netflix watcher, but I've seen a couple of good Prime videos lately. If you haven't seen The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland, it's so worth watching.

Doesn’t matter to me. Talk about whatever you want! Gets interactions and talks going! I’ve been watching Tulsa King season 2 on paramount+. Squid Game Season 2 is next Thursday, and I’m excited to that. The last show I really watched was season 2 of The Walking Deaf: Daryl Dixon. As far as movies the last one I watched was Smile 2. I didn’t like the ending and the only thing I liked was Naomi Scott’s performance. I haven’t watched The Ultimatium but it sounds fun! I don’t really watch true crime stuff, lol. Funny part is I do read a lot of thriller and horror books!

I'm a big fan of Alone...a few seasons in they do a season of two person teams which is interesting...Enjoy!!!

I've gotten some hairy goodwill puzzles too. Also 2 pieces looked disgusting , was told it looked like a cat chewed on them. After this experience, I'm staying away from goodwill.

I think about entering a competition, but I never have. GOOD for you, for trying.

Adorable puzzle as I recognize a bit of that art style. You didn't do bad at all! You stuck with it, got your camera set up, fought through first try nerves and completed! I am gonna bet you'll see your own times will improve as you familiarize yourself with different styles and puzzle cuts. I bet in a few months we are going to see your baseline time go down :) congrats and thanks for sharing!

Well done! I have never joined an event, but I was thinking of participating in the St Paul Winter Carnival Puzzle Derby this year. For that, a puzzle is sent to you like this, but it's all like those advance competitors you mentioned, since you have a few weeks to complete it and no Zoom aspect.

That time was fine, well done. If you are relatively new to speed puzzling then for the moment compare your times to your own puzzling. Until you get more experience with speed puzzling comparing yourself with others could perhaps make you feel you aren't getting anywhere. I recall that Sandra from The Puzzling Canadian was comparing her speed to others instead of her own times. She stopped that and started to compare her own times. I think how you tackle the puzzle can make a difference with how quickly it gets done. Look forward to seeing how you get on.

You did an excellent job. My first speed puzzle competition I did a 300 piece in 1 hour and 17 minutes. I just did one last night that could have 1-2 people on the team. I was a single and still beat three teams with 1 hour 21 minutes. It’s important to just have fun.

Might not be a musical like the others but do the others speak “squirrel” in them? 😂 I agree the scenes ones are more fun to do.

No worries over the lighting. Ravensberger puzzles tend to have some sorta gloss or smoothness over em which on dark puzzles as these can cause a glare when combined with various lighting. As far as the Horned King goes, not many people have ever watched the movie because it went into the Disney vault. It was very dark. I wish Ravensburger added Mad Madam Mim from Sword in the Stone. She's hilariously goofy. It's interesting how you're drawn to the more modern villains. I do think they were given a tad more depth or character other than I'm evil. Yzma still tops my chart. Malificent due to art style and presence. Mad Madam Mim for hilarity n style. And Ursula, presence, voice, and darkness.

I was way off! I love the justification for Mother Gothel😂😂😂 she wasn’t trying to be evil, she just wanted a lock of her hair. I also love yzma and kronk as a duo. The Horned King is from the Black Cauldron. I’m not really familiar with the movie, but I know a few people who really like it. There used to be a quiz in California Adventure (next to Disneyland) where you could answer questions and see which character you are most like. If I went down a villain path I always got Ursula every time, and my sister always got either Yzma or Medusa from the Rescuers. Those three now have special places in our hearts just for that reason lol

There is a glare but I honestly think it’s may be the puzzle also, I had to use a extra light just to see my puzzles. Lady Tremaine was my favorite out of the collection. Ezma and hades is my favorite villains
