Valve lash to tight. Or the. Guides hanging up. Seat. Angel. Shouldn't cause a valve slap? I've gotten things back from the machine shop. Race ready. And. Surprise. Surprise. It. Wasn't. Nothing can't be fixed. Very pretty bike though

Of course, I'm extremely attracted to the BSA DB34 Gold Star. Without doubt one of the most handsome motorcycles ever produced. But it's reputation as a temperamental & brutal animal to tame would make me hesitant on buying. Especially kicking the bloody thing off. But, it would be lovely having one like that in my living room at home. The misses could always watch TV in the kitchen.

I know that under UK law all these old bikes don’t need an MOT or have to pay any road tax as they are historic vehicles but how does the insurance company know they are roadworthy? In the unfortunate case of an accident would the insurance company not want to pay out arguing that the owner has not maintained the bike ?

Motor sounds like Brand new. Solid top and bottom. It's amazing how you can pick up the difference from the sound. Of a well broke in motor. Compared to. New beautyfull bike. I thought I was the only one that kept 🏍️ in the house

virtually new bike for 4k . lot of lovely bike for the money ,why restore one ,you couldnt do it for that money .Lot of love gone into it

There were four DBD34 in our 'gang' mid sixties, clip-ons, rear-sets and a bump seat! This one should be safe - no more mini cooper s' pulling out on you.
