Man know what would be so cool and funny. You playing into the radius again. Some tips I have from 160 hours are silencers are your greatest friend get them for all guns as soon as possible. Armour is unlocked at security 3 and it’s costs 5500 for a 55% damage reduction from the helmet and body armour, you want at least the body armour but if your broke the helmet gives 15% damage reduction for $1200. Use knives and machetes to kill fragments (the tall ones that scream) and phantoms (the see through ones) you can just throw your knife at them for an insta kill than force grab it back. Save money as much as possible, I’m such a cheap person I only use the weapons you can find and make it work. Look for stashes with weapons in them. I recommend the akm stash in factory, it’s about 2gs to fix. and don’t be afraid to save scum, if you want to experiment then save and just run headfirst into that, then load save if you die. This helped me get rid of fear of death. And the m9 is the best pistol in the game. Sorry for such the GIRTHY comment but I would love to see you play again.

I think VR Chat should exist with the caveat that the normal sections and 18+ sections need to be more strictly separated. Other than that, I don’t think most of its problems are unique to it, and I think VR Chat has some very unique pros to its existence (ex. Allowing people to comfortably build social skills).

Some things have such significant downsides that no matter how good the positives are, they are not worth it. VRChat is one of those things.

This is an amazing video and I feel that every VRChat player should watch it. Part of the reason that VRChat appeals to me and so many others is because of how reminiscent it is to early internet chat rooms. It's very unmoderated, and that can be both a good and a bad thing. I have met some horrible people there, but I have also met some of the most genuine, kind, and caring people there. Because of how unmoderated it is, you will see people who come from every walk of life, and are more than willing to share their stories. One of my best friends is now living with his wife of 3 years, who he met in VRChat, and I met that friend in VRChat. However, like you said, too many people use it as a way of getting around their crippling social anxiety without addressing the problem directly, and that can breed all kinds of issues in a person. I also very much believe that VRChat should be 18+, however I feel that it would be nearly impossible to enforce. If they were to add a simple "how old are you" (similar to steam's) or "are you over 18?", children would simply lie. If they were to add ID verification, most users would probably just stop using it rather than give their ID to VRChat, thus losing even more users for this already niche game. Honestly, I feel that Meta/Facebook should restrict the game for users under 18, as 99% of children on VRChat are quest users, and last I remember, you need a Facebook account to use it.

The mission that gave me severe psychological trauma was the one where you gotta go to Kolkhoz or whatever and get a buncha stuff on a shopping list. I got everything on the list in like five minutes and then I spent five real life hours looking for one grenade and then I got fucking jumped by a slider.

................ this game makes me feel like adrealine junkie. Yes, the game can give you jumpscare or two; but at the same time... I crave the it now. The anticipation before battle, preparing the loadout, assaulting the building, looting down everything not bolted down. The challenge is real, and it's not just the enemy, but your own wits and guts as well. It's... nice feeling to become not just a survivor, but a hunter. Funny how I was afraid of venturing into the zone at night, using the time to clean guns and such at safe spots... I just don't do that anymore, you can loot much more stuff between the tides if you don't rest. Just aim at the muzzle flash, huh? This game makes me feel stuff which traditional FPS games just can't convey.

That moment with the floating foot got a good laugh out of me.

It's scary that you got so immersed in the game that you decided to kill yourself to end the situation but I think that the most rewarding part about this game is overcoming your own fear and being able to get home safely

I was out doing a Farewell Feast with nothing but a Makarov to my name and I just started swearing in Russian bc I was fucking scared. This perfectly sums up my experience: always making sure I come prepared, with my guard up at all times, and having an extra pair of big boy pants at the ready. Edit 2: Finding two nades in a Farewell Feast just made me want to cry and laugh and cry and laugh. I was with a Makarov; the worst gun in the entire game, having to deal with spooky-ass entities. Oh and the BTR; fucking hate that thing. This thing will spook you more than a Seeker.
