I do not like Suvs but I like this and would consider buying it. Great design.
But why they didn’t use the digital cluster of the Giulia/tonale . It fills the cannocchiale and is not a square display. Also the key fob I would have used a different one instead to use the Peugeot/citroen one with the Alfa logo, same for the dna button. Overall I like it but I wish there will be a more powerful hybrid version.
I hope also Hybrid version will be so fun to drive.

These "designers" should be moved to vans section to design i.e. Renault Kangoo where nobody is interested in how the car looks. But then they would end up with 1.2 puretech hybrid which half of the time would spend in service for repairs. And the cargo space would be diminished by half because of unnecessary embossings 😂 Unfortunetely these are the people that will design next generation of stelvio and giulia - and probably they will make them as hideous Peugeots 🤮 As stelvio user - #leave_next_stelvio_alone #shame_on_you_for_renault_captur_headlights_and_scudetto_from_mitsubishi_asx #not_buying_this_crap
It doesn't have an I.C.E. It is NOT an Alfa. You won't bring back the Alfisti with this.
Very narrow minded view on what makes an Alfa. Did you watch the reviews where they're testing how it drives? Looks like it has a spirit to it that is typically Alfa. Making Electric cars fun to drive is a smart way to differentiate from the rest of the EV market.
this car looks like the end of alfa future, but i seats and interior are great ( i tried these already) but do not expect it will give any proper diriving emotions? the video is also not very informative
This car is matchless within the competition - more precisely the competition beats it's ass in every way. Junior doesn't have attributes to have good sales: 1/ looks? No thank you i would take lexus or cupra, even Volvo ex30 looks better 2/ engines? 1.2 puretech or electric crap - no thank you! 3/ reliability? Like above - Good luck with unreliable 1.2 puretech (going back to roots I guess), or go with electric crap engines which are much less popular 4/ price? For this price it gives only one advantage - driving experience and only in top version 😂 which can be not enough to compete with others. Competition has lower prices. 5/ Driving? If other cars can offer 80-90% of the fun and have attributes from above I would take them instead. To sum up as stelvio user - #leave_next_stelvio_alone #shame_on_you_for_renault_captur_headlights_and_mitsubishi_asx_scudetto #not_buying_this_crap

Finally, an EV with a sensible balance between weight, range and handling. Just unfortunate it will not have a LFP battery.
In the meantime the driving impressions have been published and they’re rather good.

It's not an Alfa Romeo, but a Peugeot. I will never buy a car from the Stellantis group again because it's all French and low-quality material.

Stellantis needs to have a global distribution network or they will fail and this is why alfa & lancia & fiat have failed (that's also why there are ugly over priced german cars everywhere because they make german cars in china and ship them to the world)

Really insightful. Great designers put so many efforts in every aspect of car design. Being able to deliver a monologue about each line of a car is a testament to how much the design is flesh out. Bravo.
Thank you so much. Indeed, they make it seem easy but there’s is a huge amount of tears, sweat and hard work going on behind the curtains. That’s what makes it even more frustrating to hear people dismiss it with a simple “it’s a reno/pug/kia/whatever”.
Maybe my next car but the price for the Veloce-version is the same as Tesla model 3 LR so Im not sure about the Junior…
That is like comparing the kcal between a Big Mac and a nice steak.

@@alfattitude what I said is confusing because I'm including Cupra when I say SEAT. Something about this car's design language looks like a cross between a Peugeot and a Cupra to me. I admit that it's highly subjective, and I drive a Giulia Quadrifoglio, so the fact that I would have liked them to go in a completely different direction might play into it. :)

Looking so much forward to change from my Giulietta - in which I've enjoyed flawless 200.000km - to the Junior IF there's enough room in the back seats.
Giulietta is a superior class, with Tonale as the SUV equivalent. But go give the Junior a try yourself and see how it’s like.

Nice successor for MiTo and Giulietta. Appreciate this car more and more (I recently saw it in real life). Good and interesting interview with the designer. (p.s.: delete the background music next time. It distracts from the conversation and does not meet accessibility requirements)

@@alfattitude I am Italian and if Alfa Romeo is to be a re-crowning of a Peugeot built in Poland with Chinese parts, becoming a car like any other, it has no reason to exist! For us Italians Alfa Romeo is perhaps even more important than Ferrari, but I don't think you foreigners can understand that at all!

In fairness, Junior is a much more suitable name for the this car.
