A couple of days ago, I received shorts from Silverlight. It's their first entry into the shorts category, although they've been making hiking socks for a while, which I am a big fan of. In mid-June 2023 we hiked 160km Arctic Circle Trail in Greenland. Starting in Kangerlussuaq and finishing in the coastal city of Sisimiut. There are no roads or access to civilization while hiking the trail, only entry and exit points. It took us 8 days and we carried all the food and everything we needed while on the track. Šis ir projekts ko plānoju jau kādu laiku. Plāns bija noiet visu Latvijas jūras piekrasti (oficiālais garums 498km) vienā piegājienā. Man tas prasīja 14 dienas un 531km (ieskaitot dažādus apvedceļus pie upēm un pilsētām). This is a hike I planned for a while. The plan was to hike the entire Latvian coastline (498km) in one go. It took me 14 days and 531km (with various detours).

This is probably the most famous hike in Madeira, also known as Pico to Pico. Connecting two of the highest peaks in Madeira - Pico Arieiro (1,818 m) and Pico Ruivo (1,862 m). The trail is very well signposted and takes about 4-5 hours return. If you get lucky with the weather, it's just so beautiful.

I hiked up to Gran Canaria's highest point, Pico De Las Nieves, during a storm, with high winds and rain. I almost cancelled the hike, but glad I persisted, as it was beautiful and serene to hike through the fog and rain. The wind at the top was a bit crazy though. Music from Musicbed.

This is a 73km hike across Gran Canaria island from North (Agaete) to South (Maspalomas). I did this hike in three days while camping along the way, but you can also take it slower and finish in four days. I followed the GR131 route on GPX (search for file online). It's a great hike as you get to see most of the highlights of the island in one go.

This is a hike to the highest point in La Palma, Roque de Los Muchachos, at 2426m. I extended the hike along GR131 and stayed overnight at the Refugio de Los Roques, so my total was almost 30km for the day. I would recommend camping earlier along the way.

This is my hike up to Pico Del Teide volcano, the highest point in Spain. I hiked from the Montaña Blanca and it took almost 4 hours on the way up and 2.5h on the way down with 1300m total elevation gain. I went out deep sea fishing with Rodfather Fishing a couple of days ago. A great day, we saw some dolphins and whales as well, everyone caught a barracuda and one of us got lucky with bonito. All shot on Osmo Action & music by Musicbed.
