I think Star Wars RUclipsrs are really trying to bootstrap interesting stories about this nothing burger of a show. It was an ok yet ultimately inconsequential show that did nothing for the rest of the galaxy or timeline. I can't believe Acolyte had to go but this one stays.

Think it's just simplier to say that they got caught up in the clone wars where as at attin was fully closed off

The stars OT focused its story on a handful of characters and the whole battle with the empire was more background stuff. The PT was all about world building and showing us the downfall of the Republic, the rise of the empire, who Palpatine was and the long game he'd been playing and Anakin's fall to the darkside The films didn't and couldn't cover everything which is where the EU and shows like clone wars and rebels come into play to give you the complete picture. Did Lucas succeed in doing that ?. In my opinion he did and yes certain things could have been way better (the story of Anankin and padme's relationship, giving Django Fett a better story) and certain bits of CGI looked a bit questionable but Lucas loved Star Wars and gave us his best work even if it seemed questionable, a tad boring at times and even outight bad in certain areas

My theory is: every single jewel (planet) had a different ruler, the only one that made it to the end was the droid ruled one, Im only basing this on the at achron episode the tower doesn’t have the same structure as the supervisor one at least inside, the outside seems to be the same, instead had those pillar type things with the coordinates. great video!!!

They got a benevolent leader that increases the GDP equivalent, provides security during the time of 2 major stellar conflicts, provides nice housing, education, does not discriminate against non-humans like the empire did ... But Fr33d0m and L1b3rty! Well now they can enjoy their tribal conflicts and their tents!

I wondered how many of the "Jewels" fell from within and how many fell from without. Not having active droids on At Achrann is probably because all the safety droids were tied into the Supervisor like on At Attin, so when its supervisor went down, they all failed too. But, the Supervisor's office was pretty bare, there weren't computers and stuff there. Of course it could have been stripped out.

Apparently you don't know the meaning of the word "fan" or understand what/who they are, fans are not "done". Weak man children are done, that's about it.

I think each of the AT worlds were set up as a mint, At Attan after all is described as the LAST Old Republic Mint, implying that there used to be others. Kim the Owl also describes each world as being attacked and "destroyed" except for At Attan, implying external attackers, not internal uprisings. So what I think happened is that At Achron was attacked and looted like we saw the pirates try to do to At Attin. Unlike At Attan, there was no Old Republic to come to At Achron's rescue. Or the Republic did come to At Achron's rescue, but against a much more formidable opponent. Either way, the end result is that At Achron gets its infrastructure devastated, either looted or destroyed. With nothing valuable to fight over, At Achron was abandoned, and the survivors left to fight over the remains, which leads to the various tribes we saw in the current day. I will say that At Achron's Supervisor tower is surprisingly clean and empty of any droids or equipment. Given the taboo of entering the tower, it likely wasn't cleaned out by the locals. Which means whoever looted At Achron did such a thorough job that even the Supervisor and the electronic consoles were taken away.

I haven't rewatched the episode, but I wouldn't be surprised if the computer stations around the supervision were communication terminals to the other 8 planets, and when those planets became disobedient, they were shut off one by one.

Well without commitment to the Great Works the people well form factions. Some like me will want to see Wim put in the mines. Restore the barrier? How to replace the supervisor? Should the New Republic be allowed to take the credits? A lot to work out with deferring opinions.

I haven’t gone back to rewatch the series yet, but my initial thought was that each of the “Jewels of the Republic” were set up with differences as to how the planet was governed and what each planet was set up for …. like they had different goals. We only got to see 2 of the planets and it a small sample size for one of them. We didn’t see any remnant of a robotic supervisor on the other planet, but it could have been dismantled along time ago? The fact that there was living beings employed in the Supervisors tower at one point, but not any more, could mean that the inhabitants switched over to that robotic leadership too? I’ll let you know if a second viewing changes my thoughts. Your theory suddenly works with what has been shown too. Nice job on that!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Series Finale. And, I agree: I liked how this particular story DIDN'T feature any cameos. I still believe that Ninaa Nawood was The Jedi who found Jod, and that there was a flashback filmed...but, it may be being held back for other related media (The Hidden Path, Tales Of The Jedi, Tales Of The Empire, etc.). I still hope We get to see more of Jod's past, and how The Force found him. Jeremy, one thing to remember: Like, The Goonies and E.T., the story is centered on preteen children. THEIR STORY is what's on display...not THE GALAXY. Watts, Ford, and Law have stated that, upon finishing the Series, We'd be asking: WHAT'S NEXT?? WE NEED MORE! Now, within the rest of The Mandoverse, We'll probably get more in-depth depictions and descriptions of The 9 Jewels Of The Old Republic (I gotta think that The New Republic goes to At-Achrann, to lend much needed aid and stability). Ironically, Skeleton Crew was originally supposed to release around Thanksgiving 2023; until The Writers and Actors Strikes came about, making P.R. impossible...leaving, The Acolyte to debut first, in Summer 2024. Imagine where the fandom would be, if Rangers Of The New Republic (starring Cara Dune, played by Gina Carano) had been released after, The Book Of Boba Fett (where she was rumored to have had an appearance, before Kennedy's handiwork), and prior to The Mandalorian: An Original Novel (a guaranteed bestseller book, which, though penned, got shelved also by Kennedy. most likely) Season 3 of The Mandalorian, and Skeleton Crew had come out before, The Acolyte. We'd likely be in a very different headspace. Ultimately, Kennedy is to blame for this...since she initiated many of the missteps in the various projects. May The Force Be With You, Man...

Couldn’t agree more, they put the mystery there for us to speculate on, but don’t let those things be anything important. Such a letdown after such a fun season.

Maybe another show of different kids and their parents, or kids a couple years older being apprentices on a starship. I don't know how shows are calculated as making their money back for streaming; someone said one or two streaming services had a profitable quarter for a change. But if word of mouth gets out and people watch it the next time the churn back to Disney+ then that should be alright. I suspect a number of people are pirating the Star Wars pirate show so as not to give them their money. But the hate is out there, and not just by misogynists and others who aren't fans but pretending to be so as to get others to hate Disney.

I was also impressed with the young actors in this series, it was so much better than the “twins” in the Acolyte. My whole family enjoyed the show and the consensus was it was a 8/10. I loved that we experienced it together. Like you, I wanted more lore and a little more resolution in the finale. What was Jod going to do / plan at the end after seeing his initial plans go up in smoke? What was the Republic going to do with At Atten? Is the Supervisor going to be repaired? Etc …..

The idea of Star Wars is genius. The execution is not.

so, my guess is that they were hidden in the high republic era but the robot still got messages from the republic including the order 66 one saying they were all traitors and then it proboaly closed all messages from the republic completely. this show was a 8/10 for me all the way. Jude Law was amazing and the kids as well!

I do like how he was force sensitive but only knew a little bit. I was bummed we didn't find out who the captain was.

We kept thinking that Princess Leia was going to come out at the end and give out medals. Wims Dad is gonna grow a handlebar moustache and become an At-Attin space biker.:) Love the super Empire Strikes Back in the background. Those were some hard games for sure.

The theory of supervisor being the captain isn't impossible just because of that prerecorded message that played on the intercom.

Personally I can’t really take any particular side. For me I’ve been trying to talk about what I like and don’t like about Star Wars as a whole, both old and new, and have been called a bunch of different things and even threatened over things we disagree on. both old and new Star Wars is imperfect for me, but I love what I love regardless. I just wish I could share what I liked without being hurt for it. It feels like I’m a child again, 8 years old and being bullied for liking Star Wars at all. Like cmon. Why can’t I just enjoy what I enjoy? We can disagree but at least be respectful and not attack me for having a different perspective.

Ranad is the supervisor.. I'm a big Fry fan it is definitely him doing that voice in the hologram. I know his sound too well and I've heard him do this voice before in earlier work in UK. I'll put money on it. He's old enough to be an old pirate..

Most fans aren't watching because they're sick of the mediocre crap that's been put out already. The sequels were lazy remakes of the originals. Rebels was ok. Tales of the jedi was ok imo. Tales of the empire was boring. Bad batch was meh. Kenobi was cheap as fk and ripped off the games. Mando 1-2 was ok but full of cheap cameos just to keep us watching while S3 was just a joke. Rogue one/Andor was good imo. Acolyte was total trash and made by trashy people. I had zero excitement for skeleton crew but I've very much enjoyed it, surprisingly. The number one thing that has turned most fans off is constantly being called racist and sexist for not liking mediocre shows/movies and crappy actors who's only priority is to bore the audience with gender and LGBTQ politics and when we reject they double down on calling us names and that leads to the continued decline of the ratings. Seeing skeleton crew having the worst ratings is sad because I genuinely like the show and would like to see another season.

Years pass and people keep refusing to understand and listen what is said in the actual movie. Luke didn't go to the island because "he couldn't cope with the mistakes he made". He went to the island to remove himself and the Jedi from the equation. He reaches the conclusion that his presence and the presence of the Jedi invites the growth of darkness and invites challenge and destruction like it happened for thousands of years. He wants to do that so that a new source of light rises on its own to face darkness. Saying he doesn't care about the galaxy in this movie is just a flat out lie. but he is too humble to understand that he and the Jedi are more than guardians and protectors, and beyound their failures and mistakes they are a symbol of hope for the galaxy, for people to rise up and fight for what is right, and remember that the light is real. And that's what he learns at the end and then shows up to be that beacon of hope on Crait. All of this is in the movie, I didn't write no fan fiction, so you either are lying to your audience or you didn't understand or didn't want to understand what the movie was telling you.

Disney needs to do one of two things. Fire Kathleen Kennedy, or sell the Star Wars intellectual property back to George Lucas or ANYONE else to revive the franchise. Disney killed it.

I think if you want the Supervisor to be someone other than a droid, A.I., computer or autopilot, then being a droid would be "a nothing burger." They've been talking about droids all season: safety droids, "a droid will always let you down," no operating droids on At Achrann, "you droids don't listen," and "better than dealing with a droid." It's a kids' show and needs to be straightforward: what they say is what you get. They didn't say that all 9 planets were run by droids, or how they were found and destroyed. But maybe they fell from within in rebellion against the droid overseers? I think that the droids will give a Midi-chlorian test to Jod and he passes, thus confirming his identity as the Emissary, because it has to be a Force-user like a Jedi and Jod qualifies! Then the Supervisor is a droid, but won't listen to the kids or their parents saying he's a fraud, a liar, a pirate and a thief because he passed the test. Jod thought he had to take the mint by force with his frigate, but the Supervisor will just give him whatever he asks for! But then Jod doesn't believe it! He thinks he's going to be backstabbed leaving the planet, or by his pirates, or won't be allowed to return, so he has a complete meltdown where the _Onyx Cinder_ is full of credits but he dare not leave! The only way out of that will be if another Force-user shows up (Luke Skywalker), who will have authority with the Supervisor once he's been proven as well. But Jod won't let that happen, so fights him and loses pretty quickly (about the same time it took for Vader to disarm Luke in _The Empire Strikes Back:_ "All too easy."). They both say they've only had two weeks of Jedi training, but Luke's the real thing!
