Location: Durgadahalli, Chikmagalur District.
In the middle of western ghats of Karnataka, surrounded by Shola Forests and Grasslands, ruins of the Ballalarayana Durga Fort built during Hoysala Empire still exists at an altitude 1509m.
The magnificent beauty of the nature, clouds floating over the mountains, the chirping of birds, sounds of frogs from the patches of Shola forests and Grasslands is magical.
This trial in the midst of wide variety of Flora and Fauna and Landscapes is one of the best trials in Karnataka during Monsoon.
