I just saw your comment and I am happy to say sleep training went well! I was very worried about it but he took to it well. And yes! The weeks and the common planner are great!

They are technically both a7 but the Versa can fit a6 paper because its so big. So it can fit pocket plus sized paper.

The Versa is much bigger than the regular sized pocket. the Versa can fit a6 size paper and the regular fits a7 sized paper. In the description of the Versa it says, “you can slide an a6 sized notebook into the slip pocket”. But yes, if you search on Amazon they will both be label A7

I did not get stiffener! Its floppy, but with my items in it it stiffens up well. Thank you!

It’s funny because I never thought they would make the a5 version and when they announced they were I was ready! Woke up a 5am for it haha! It’s a lot better now than it was when I first got it. I felt like it was dry and dusty for the first couple of weeks and now it’s a lot smoother and softer with a little bit of patina and beautiful!

@@meredithcplans I have the Slim version and I am now sad I didnt snag the a5 which is my preferred size. Hopefully I get lucky and someone offers one on the BST Gillio Group :) Glad to hear you love it so much!

Oh, no! Hmm, I’m not sure why! The volume of the video seems to be at a normal level.

I got the open flat size decreased to 14 inches! It could even be a bit shorter if you didn’t want to stuff it. And it is the same cost without rings. I paid 25 euros to shorten it and that was the only customization that I did! I love it!

@@meredithcplans hi meredith! Thanks for your quick response. Wow! You took a lot in. I did the same too because I didn't want it to be bulky. I did change out to gold rings but chose 25mm. Hopefully the rings aren't too small. I probably won't get my planner until June. I've been wanting to try a Gillio but its sold out. I'm confused with the premium leather and standard leather. Is that the quality of the leather? Thanks for all your help!!!

@@ollieandchloe I completely understand that! I fell in love with Gillios years before I heard of VDS. But like you mentioned they are always out of my size in the leathers and colors that I like. So I custom made my first VDS to be like the Gillio Appunto but honestly now that I have done two at VDS they are my favorite. I still love and will buy from Gillio though! With Gillio they have three different planner qualities: first quality, premium good deal, and good deal. First quality is perfect, premium good deal is almost perfect but maybe there is a small mark or the stitching isn't completely perfect, and good deals there is usually something obviously wrong with it. Not to say that they aren't still beautiful - the Olive Appunto you saw in the video is good deals (the Charcoal was Premium Good deals) but you can expect some flaws. With VDS the Parme i think is the base level leather (buffalo) and then everything else is calf leather. In my experience thus far, the VDS quality is better than the Premium Good Deals and Good Deals quality of Gillio. I have never had a first quality Gillio to compare with VDS though. I hope this helps!

I will check them out and see if I can get my hands on one. Lately I have been on a planner kick. I just ordered the Filofax A5 Croc in fawn. I already one in black 2 weeks ago! 😂🤣. I would love to watch that video of yours!! I am struggling so much with using mine. I actually carry a backpack everywhere I go so space isn't really an issue for me, but if I go back to using only a purse I can see that being exactly what I do!!

Thank you that is super helpful! I will have to get that because all point pens are the worst! haha. My boss had pens that were in our company name and it was a ball point pen and he didn't understand why I didn't want to use it haha! :)

Thank you! I love it. You have to email Petra and ask her for whatever customization you want. She will literally help you design anything you want. She will then invoice you any charges for customizations you make! The vds email is on the website. She usually gets back to you between 24-48 hours!

Oh yeah, And I did not order a larger clasp. Same length and size. The length of the clasp is super long! Longer than Moterm and Gillio without customizing it.

Yes! The cousin only having like 3 blank grid pages in the back is hard. I have thought about getting the Day Free. The weeks is just too small for me. Though portability is nice on the weeks. However I rarely leave the house so its not a big deal for me right now, ha!

Im new to the Hobonichi world - 2022 will be my first year using it. I loved the idea of a yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily in one planner cause that’s what I do now in my bujo, but it’s annoying having to change books every semester and having to redraw out my yearly and monthly’s. I bought the Hobonichi notebooks for that exact reason: a single daily page will not be enough some days. As a grad student, I have 1-1 meetings with my advisor, lab meeting, TA meetings; I’m also part of the grad student organization and am on a symposium planning committee - they don’t happen every day, but on days they do happen, I need more space to write, to the point that I sometimes use 4 or 5 pages for a single day. I haven’t started using the Hobonichi cousin yet, but I have gone ahead and transitioned my fall 2021 bujo from a leuchtturm to the Hobonichi notebook.

I completely agree! VDS and Gillio are amazing, but not necessary to every planning system. I was in Moterms for a couple years figuring out my sizes and kinds that I like. I did end up getting a VDS (and happy about it to) but that was after years in the planning community! I will continue to use the Moterm Versa for my wallet. I love it so much
