I’m so lucky my little brother woke up before me. He was able to fade super super slowly which helped me fade quicker than him. He helped me block everyone and keep myself safe from others. I was able to move out but unfortunately my parents caught me in my lie so I don’t have a relationship with them anymore but my brother still does. She is right you have to fade gradually and pretend to still “act” complicit around your family (if they’re heavily involved)

Im so excited that you are doing this series on intuition! I remember as a child reading in WT publications that intuition was from the demons & I knew that was wrong. Turns out intuition is what keeps us safe. I knew that animals had a way of knowing things that we werent using. Im super analytical, observant & logical. Not very creative, zero artistic ability. Yet, I honed my intuition. It woke me up from WT for sure. It has saved my life repeatedly. Working with animals my whole life brought it out. Its how I communicate with them. It helps my brain analyze body language. Somehow I know things that Im cant explain. I worked with severely abused, dangerous & wild horses for 11 yrs & never got hurt. Intuition. Cant wait to learn more!

I've been asked why I didn't just write a letter of disassociation. The main reason was not to play into their games and satisfy their fake power. Another reason was to let all my J-Dub family and friends _choose_ if they wanted to continue talking to me or not. I didn't want to make that decision for them by allowing myself to be disfellowshipped. Needless to say, 100% of my so-called family and friends immediately shunned me and cut me out of their lives. Fast-forward six years later... nothing has changed. I'm dead to all of these hypocrites.

I didn't give the Elders the satisfaction of announcing my name from the platform. I didn't answer the Elder's calls or text messages. I didn't answer the door when they came knocking. I returned their certified letters unopened. I took away their fake power.
