If the next FH takes place in China I hope it's not Beijing, the road system in downtown Beijing just sucks to drive from a gaming perspective. Chongqing will be my top pick due to the unique city design, and also I hope to see some Black Myth Wukong vibes in game if possible. But with that said, I have little faith in the new game base on what I saw happened with the new Forza Motorsport.

From a UK Perspective, to explain why it flopped here, basically it was "Magic Railroad" again in that it was just *far too American* in being Live Action and "Duudebro", when we, basically, just wanted the Puppets and the Full Surviving voice cast from the 1960's Original! We felt genuinely Disrespected by such a "Duuudebro" Reboot! One thing that made the CG Reboot work so brilliantly well was them rehiring some of the Original 60's Screenwriters (so it kept that "Sixties Cool" feel intact!) , Using Barry Grays Signature Music, such as "Fireflash Landing" (his masterwork!), straight from the Original, getting the legendary David Graham back to reprise the role of Parker in all his Cockney glory (H'a moto-cycle that fires missuls!? Wot-h'eva will they fink h'of next?") , Featuring some of the original Vehicle Designs (a Crablogger, looking Exactly like it did in the 1960's, making a Cameo in one Episode!) for background Vehicles, finding new roles for other surviving cast members like Matt Zimmerman, and keeping the Iconic original "countdown" complete with the voice of the late Peter Dynely, intact!, it fully embraced the Fans of the Original, it was made for us *as well* as Today's Children!, while the Film just threw us under the Nearest Bendy-Bus in favor of what the Corporate Suits thought was "down with the Kids" in Suburban, Gated, Los Angeles! We felt like we had been thrown under a Bus and that Commander Riker had gone and pulled Donuts (can you Drift a Galaxy Class Starship?) all over the flowerbed of our Childhood, and that is why it Flopped here in the UK.

Team forza lives in a bubble. These woke people have no clue about the car community and culture. Not surprised they picked mexico. Next guess could be africa. If not maybe china. Don't believe their lies. They need passionate and experienced people in their team. They are concerned about pulling in non car enthusiasts. Going down to their level. They don't care. Also they are not showing people how a game should be and up to today's standards. We the people can. But they don't listen. Screw Forza.

I mean... they should really stop making chapters of Forza. Graphically they can for now still improve but I would be more glad if Forza 6 would be their final product, because after that I cant really see improvement e.g. in graphic. Just live service game, big updates every e.g. 3 months like new map or something more interesting than new cars every time. Sounds of cars are great but they should get rid of sound duplicates. I would also welcome some city map with more streets than just empty long roads. Big city gives a lot more fun and new life to the game. If they would add walking NPCs that would be crazy. They just need to note additional things from recent racing games because some of them have really cool features, even if they are small features they can do big impact on you if core of the game is builded correctly. But they still can fail us as on Forza 5 so we will see with what they come up now. Re-adding cars with small improvement wont help at all...

There is so much to cover with this, I am going to have to do this in more than one Part! Given the Japanese Government are known to be Extremely Hostile to the Western Games industry, and given the Japanese National Police Agency are Engaged on a Crackdown against all media that Promotes Illegal Street Racing (why do you think MF Ghost is all *legal* , Horizon Style, Motorsports? it was to keep the Police off the Studio's back!), and combine that with Ralph Fulton openly Declaring, in a pre FH4 interview with Eurogamer, that Japan is a "Non Starter" due to the "political and legal hurdles" , the Chances of FH6 being set in Japan are *flat zero* in My Opinion. This is a good thing, as, IMO, Japan would be the Final *Ruination* of a Series that is already on very Rocky Ground as it is! Now, in some good news, Mike Brown, who was Responsible for FH4 and 5 being so Sub Par, has left Microsoft, and has been replaced by Torben Ellert, who has *publicly stated* that the Direction FH4/5 Took has *not worked* and that FH6 is going to be going in a Completely Different Direction to any Previous Forza Game, we do not, however, know what that Direction is. Just do not Expect it to turn into NFS, as Microsoft has *Mandated* an ESRB E/PEGI 3 (and the PEGI are Considerably more Strict than the ESRB, Solar Crown (a Game which I have *boycotted* over it being set in China!), a Game you mentioned, for Example, has been given an E-10 Rating from the ESRB, but has been whacked with an *18* (a rating more commonly seen on Violent Games such as COD) Rating by the PEGI, and PEGI Ratings, unlike ESRB Ratings, are *legally Binding* under UK (1984 Video Recording Standards Act) and EU Law by the Way, meaning, in the UK and Europe, Solar Crown is Effectively Adults Only because it cannot *legally* be sold to anyone under the Age of 18 in the UK and Europe!) Age Rating on *all* Future Forza Games after 2019 as part of their "Forza Safe Space" Corporate Policy, so that is going to tie the Developers hands somewhat.. It's a Policy I personally Support to the Hilt however, as I for one am still Stinging at Motorfest being *Ruined* for me by all the Unnecessary Blasphemy and Profanity in the Dialogue and Music, and that is a Worry I do not have to consider with Horizon, thankfully, due to that Policy! TBH, I do not want Asia at all for Forza Horizon, Asia just has too many issues for me, It is going to cause me too many Conscience issues due to their Extremely Idolatrous and Pagan Culture (And Pagan Idolatry is something I have had *enough* of with Mexico!) and I am just not going to be able to Enjoy the Game. Personally, I think Horizon works at its Best in a European Setting, So I really would like to see the Series Return to Europe, Sadly, as *perfect* as Germany would be for Horizon, I do not think Germany can be done as their Extremely Strict Data Privacy Laws, which have effectively Outlawed Google Street-View, will make Getting the Skybox Footage and Texture Photogrammetry (the same issues Japan Faces due to their Lack of a Fair Use Clause meaning you need Permits to Take Photographs and those Permits are *Impossible* for Westerners to Get! its why Tokyo Drift had to be Filmed Entirely in California and the *One* Scene that was filmed in Japan was Filmed Illegally and saw the entire Filming Team, including Director Justin Lin! *Jailed* for breaking Japan's Copywrite Laws, Japan refused to grant the Photography/Filming Permit to a Western (and "Western" is considered an "Insult" (and one on a Par with how the *N Word* is seen in Western Culture!) in Japanese Culture!) Company!, which was Likely the "Legal Hurdle" mentioned by Ralph Fulton as well!) pretty much Mission: Impossible so I do not see it Happening. I would most love to see the Balkans (Croatia and Montenegro), Spain and Portugal (Where FH5 should have been set IMO), the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland) or a Remake of FH2/4 with the UK, France, Monte-Carlo and Italy all Featured as their Full Nations, but Scaled Down in the Manner of ETS2, which had the UK, France, Monte and Italy as its original "vanilla" map by the way! Failing Europe, I would Love to see a Return to America, but *Not* California, as California has been done to Death by NFS and the whole "Everything is Underground" Era of the Early to Mid 2000's , and has become Extremely Boring and Generic as a result, New England however would be Drop Dead Gorgeous, would allow them to Bring back Seasons Properly, and would be pretty Unique as I cannot think of any other Racing Game (Besides the Crew 2 having it as Part of its Scaled down whole USA) set in New England. If not the US, then back to the Antipodes, as, well, if you think Australia was beautiful, wait until you see New Zealand! it knocks Australia into a Cocked Hat! and has some of the worlds best Driving Roads! failing that, then, *if* it ever Calms down, South Africa would be a Hauntingly Beautiful and Extremely Diverse setting, also with some Insane Driving Roads and some Epic unique Cars such as the Ford Sierra XR8 (European Sierra XR4 with a 5 Liter V8 from a Mustang SSP!!) , Capri Peranah (British MK1 Capri, a '71, with the Engine from a 1969 Boss 302!) , Cortina XR6 Interceptor (a Ford Cortina Crusader, but with the 3 Liter V6 from a MKIII Capri 3.0 S!) , Chevrolet Firenza "Little Chev" Can Am (a British '71 Vauxhall Magnum but with the Engine from a '68 Camaro Z/28!) etc. If it is China, I will *Boycott* the Game, as I am *Zero Tolerance* on Communism, and thus am *Disgusted* at the Idea of any Western Product Promoting China, which I consider an *Illegitimate Nation* due to it being a Communist Military Dictatorship , In any way, shape, or Form. I can only but hope that, If China was Chosen by Mike Brown, then Torben Ellert *Scrapped* the Location when he took over (and I have noticed we have been getting a lot fewer Chinese Cars since he took over) and any Chinese Cars still to add is simply because it was too late to Cancel the Licensing Deals. Little Note: Solar Crown is only a Part of Hong Kong, its just Hong Kong Island, the actual Hong Kong Peninsula is considerably Larger! Still, it is Great to Finally hear a RUclipsr who knows how Licensing Actually Works and how Chinese Brands who want to get Noticed often do Pay Games Companies to put their Cars into their Games! (On an interesting note however, most of the big Western and Japanese Brands now often Demand Extremely Large Payments from those Games Companies to convince them to allow their Cars into their Games, as they are worried Gaming could Damage their PR Image in the more Fundamentalist Islamic Nations of the Middle and Far East.) The Small Maps also have nothing to do with the Location Chosen, but because the Current Game Engine, Forzatech M, was Never Designed for Open World Games! so the Open World is Actually Simulated by Loading the Whole Map into the SDRAM as One *Giant* Race-Track (its why, even on an SSD, the Games take a fair time to Load!) this Means, so as to keep the Amount of Space the Game is Occupying in the RAM quite Small, as the Consoles are Limited on SDRAM when compared to a PC (8GB in a Base Xbox One, of which only 5GB are Usable for Games) the Map either needs to be Small, or very, very, Sparse like FH5's, So unless FH6 goes over to an Engine that is Designed for Open World Games and can thus Stream the Map directly to the Graphical Processor in 60KM2 Alpha-Numeric Chunks (how "the Crew" handles its Maps) as and when Needed, then the RAM Limitations (Series S has 10GB, 7GB of Which are Usable for Games) will keep the Map quite Small Regardless of where the Game is Set. It is a Software Limitation. We have not seen a Modern City in Horizon Since 3 because of Hardware issues, it has nothing to do with the Chosen Locations. It is all because of Hardware. Surfers Paradise caused *Severe* Performance Issues, with the Consoles often Dropping to below 10 Frames Per Second in that Location, on Base Xbox One and Xbox One S. They just could not handle all the Vertices Data (needed to Stop the Textures from "Swimming" like an Early 3D Accelerated Game from the 1990's) in the Skyscrapers on their Slow, Outdated, Notebook based Processors and got Severe Data Lag Spikes that Sank the Frame Rate. So they have not been able to do modern Cities again because the Games have had to Support Base Xbox One and One S. FH6 will have Series S as its Base Platform, which can Easily handle a Modern City at 1080P with a Locked 60FPS (Performance mode) or at 1440P with a Locked 30FPS even with Ray Tracing Enabled (Quality Mode) , so no matter the Setting, FH6 will most Likely have a Modern City. Continues....

I love the Forza games, but I agree they advertised FM as an entirely new game, and that was not true at all, but it is not so bad anymore. I actually enjoy it now, and regarding Horizon 6 I have the same concerns as you plus the fact that we have over 800 cars in Horizon 5 and I seriously doubt that Horizon 6 will have that many at launch or even 500 rescaned cars. Nowadays, people care a lot about that and could hurt the game a lot

Why most people still forget about South Korea existed , sad that Forza will be not in Japan and the devs knows that players love Japan and have been requested for it for ages. Why not South Korea ? , i have a hint that the next map of FH will be mixed between china & south korea like it was between Italy, & france in fh2 regarding the last updates had many chinese south korean cars ( strong relationship between playground games and the South korean & Chinese brands ) also it’s a good idea for them to keep the most players number from most of the world , I noticed more players joining mostly from China and Korea Since those updates

I think there are pretty good reasons why China would be in the Forza games instead of Japan: *a) China has a more diverse biome compared to Japan* -Japan comes a little lacking when it comes to their environment, such as deserts which China has the Gobi desert to compensate for, and tropical beach areas which the south of China has it covered. So they can easily satisfy different playerbases with a diverse environment *b) Road structures of both countries are kinda similar* -A lot of people probably never noticed because of their ignorance of the country, is that China also has a lot of fun touge roads because of the mountainous topography similar to Japan, and the country is also full of highways which satisfy the Wangan crowd, they could even bring in the Shanghai highway loop that shares similar vibes with the Wangan *c) Most people are pretty ignorant so they won't give a crap about culture* -Considering that a lot of Japanese culture are passed down from ancient China, which includes architecture, language, confucianism. Putting your average Horizon player in either countries and they wouldn't be able to tell it apart, and not to mention that modern Japanese also uses Chinese characters in their written language, which further proves the point. Most players didn't care about Papa Fernando's vocho in FH5, so why would they care about the differences between two countries that shares a lot of similarities? *d) The JDM problem* -If Forza ever decides to go to Japan, they'll have to lean in heavy with the JDM stuff to satisfy those who called for it, but then they would also alienate a part of the current playerbase that may not be into JDM that much, such as supercar enjoyers (the kids) or rally fanatics. So if they chose China over Japan, Turn10 gets to have a clean sheet of expectations of what the playerbase expects of the local car culture. Car culture in China is building up so they have a good respect and understanding of JDMs, there a lot of rich folks in China so supercars are a slightly more common appearence than in Japan, and like I mentioned in point a), the diversity in biomes allows them to cater to different audiences within the playerbase such as rockcrawling and rally raid. tl:dr *Japan has less environments to play with which parts of the playerbase will not be happy with, both countries shares a lot of similarities which most people are pretty racist enough to ignore, China's road strucutre are similar to Japan so Turn10 can also do JDM stuff in the country, and setting FH6 in China can avoid upsetting the heavy expecations set by FH players who have been screaming for Horizon in Japan for years*

Boring game anyway. It's just a franchise that try to do the same as Gran Turismo (but obviously very poor attempt. Gran Turismo is just the best).

AI in Forza Horizon is doomed to be a failure, because Forza runs on fairly realistic physics for an arcade game, which in turn would require very good AI to be able to really race in it. This is WAY above what Forza devs can do, so they gave up, and just gave AI virtually unlimited grip and rubberbanding. This brutally shows in Forza Motorsport 8, where AI is stripped of their magical tires. They can drive racetrack cars, naturally glued to tarmac with plenty of downforce, reasonably well, but put them into light sports car or old-school muscle, that rely on controlled oversteer to carry speed through corners, and AI spills spagetti, panicking and braking in random spots, because they can't hold grip, and that's the only type of driving they can do. Functional way to solve that issue would be to create seperate physics for AI, specifically tailored for them to be able to immitate human driving. A workaround physics to achieve realistic-looking outcome, without need for realistic AI. The only issue with this, it would require work and testing, being feature actually Built From Grounds Up. Which may be an issue, considering how much Forza relies on reused and recycled content from previous games.

I will never get excited about any forza again after the motorsport disaster. They cut out so many cars and demolished everything that fm3 and 4 built, this is just sad.

The absolute worst thing about the drip feeding content, is that in the menu, when there are these looped videos, you could actually see some of the drip fed cars from day one, even though the car was added months or years after the release. I spotted the Maserati Ghibli in a menu clip of Horizon 4 before it was added, the regular Aston Martin Vulcan was seen in a Forathon photo and the Huayra, a car I also dearly love and missed because it was added so late, was prominently features in one of the opening screens of the game, when they recreated the title screens of older Horizon games when it was their anniversary.

i think taking out wheelspins would be massive for FH, they remove any need to grind races to earn money. I can stop playing the game for a month and come back to multiple millions worth in wheelspins and cars

Whilst yes, it is highly likely it will be an asian country at least (they've never done an FH game in Asia), I think that an AMAZING map would be the Isle Of Man in the UK. This is so unlikely tho, due to FH4 being set in scotland, but hey there is no hurt in hoping right? The Isle of Man has some pretty cool motorsport culture as well as some AMAZING coasts and terrain.. not to mention the fact the entire map is only ~4 times bigger than the FH5 map so they could fit in at least a half sized isle of man in there. Whatever FH6 is its gonna be hype!!
