Egypt is not a safe place to travel
It really depends on where you are and what you’re doing however we never once felt unsafe here personally even out walking around quieter areas 😊
I am a Brit living in Luxor, Egypt. I can tell you Egypt is a safe place to visit. I wouldn't be here if I didn't feel safe

If you think about it, beaches are not inside of PR. For the person that prefer mexicans, we in PR have 200 beaches from more than a thousand beaches edge. But we are not that. We live everyday a normal city life. We don't live on vacations.
