How to resolve Saeco Odea Go Issues
This video will explain how to resolve the 'dripping coffee' issue and similar problems that may occur after the 'Descale' and 'Tray Full' LEDs have been flashing alternately. To stop the LEDs flashing, you shall have to turn your Saeco off and then back on. The LED state meant in this video is that the 'Thermostat' LED is ON, and the LEDs mentioned above are flashing alternately at a fast pace...

This video shows Mac Alex counting to 20 in Dutch. I made this video in response to kdmq's video showing Microsoft Sam counting in French. It was created by making stills with each phonetic word selected in TextEdit. As said, the words in TextEdit are phonetic representations, used to make Alex pronounce the Dutch words as correctly as possible. As such, it may seem awkward to people who indeed...
Sting - Come Again (John Dowland)
Sting - Come Again. Taken From album "Songs from the Labyrinth". Sting isn't playing the lute, but theorbo, a much bigger lute that's able to render bassy sounds (it was invented in those days as contemporary people created the 5-string bass or 7-string guitar). Still, it's a rare instrument and pretty ramarkable. This infomation from mr.impy4ever Thank you so much!
Come Again - John Dowland - by nybabi712; Angle corrected

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!!! This video was originally uploaded by Nybabi712, hence SHE is the one who deserves all credit When watching her video, though, I thought I'd make up for the camera man who had her singing from left to right all the time. Other than this, nothing whatsoever has been changed to the original video. I added some transitions to make the correction seem rather mo...

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!!! This video contains the FIRST EVER music used with the game's music choice set to the A-Type. It was only featured in the 1.0 version of the game, which did not yet contain the famous and widely known Korobeiniki melody. The latter was added to the 1.1 version of he game, which also changed the way lines were tied with levels. In 1.1, the player progresses ...

one more video of Coco, the Eclectus Parrot. This time, he's nearly 1 year old. He's enjoying the nice weather whilst sitting on my friend's Manus Electronic Arm. He's had a babbling baverage, he had... Oh yeah... Near the end of the vid, the angle changes... never mind that; I tried to adjust the view just there... Nog een videootje van Coco de Edelpapegaai. Hier is-ie bijna 1 jaar oud. Hij zi...
Coco the Eclectus - Coco de Edelpapegaai

Coco is my friend's Eclectus parrot and is 9 months old in this movie. At this time he only said his name (Coco) and "Koppie krauw", which is more or less equal to when an english-languaged parrot starts with "Polly wants a Cracker".
Great music, but Sting with his voice... Why??? What for??? To prove "I'm so good, I can"??? No, thanks.
Edin is absolutely amazing.
Maravillosa 🥰
i've heard this melody somewhere years ago and couldnt remember the title, until now. Maybe i should try and sing it?
lol how to butcher dutch101
this is fire. I can't believe i didnt find this vid earlier
Love, love, love this. ty for sharing.
Thank you so much, dear Sting! The most beautiful love song I can imagine. Thank you, dear John Dowland. Thank you, dear God, for these precious two and for giving me ears to hear, and a heart to listen. 🙏🏽🤗
Schwach angefangen Stark nachgelassen 🎉🎉🎉
Nice. The people that can sing and play. Stormzy might not try this.
Great. Fantastic. Thank you very much.
I just listened to Barry McDaniel singing this, and Sting's is the more refreshing and lively of the two performances. Both have come to this music from opposite points, opera and rock, except Barry didn't need to change his name. This sort of crossover performance certainly gets us thinking!
I'm gonna sound ignorant cuz I don't know about this I just found this anyway for some reason the lyrics remind me of Morrissey a bit but that's just me but pretty fucking cool that this out here
This feels more natural and real than any classically sung version of the song. Maybe in the courts they would sing that way, but an ordinary musician of the masses would have sounded more like this, I think. Listening to this feels like I'm sitting in a pub 400 years ago, drinking an ale, and listening to a traveling bard get his meal and a few coins for some songs. It's much like today, there were the big stage 5 piece rock band versions of songs, and then there were the version sung and played by some panhandler with a guitar and a good voice. Or a lute, as it were.
Your observation is one of the reasons why I was glad to see a major popular music performer approach this repertoire. Dowland's songs would have been in their day the equivalent of the love songs Sting and his contemporaries write and perform in the modern era. It's good to hear a modern non-classical performer's reading of Dowland's work and for it to be given a new life for modern audiences.
Absolutely. This isn't even going into how Sting's Northern English accent would've been a lotttt closer to Renaissance English than the Received Pronunciation that has become standard in classical singing for whatever reason
Edin & Sting the best
I never tire of listening to this performance. I find it deeply touching.
Un sogno!
When a song is murdered like this the lutenist is not so much accompaniment as accomplice.
Sting + early music= Heaven
What a stupid video, better nothing
Sorry to hear that... The video is outdated now, by the way. It doesn't apply to any of the current Saeco models.
Marvellous! John Dowland would´d been deligthed !
Stink : he should stick to his usual monkey music not meddle with art above his station.
I love this music, this Sting! I'm bus-driver and it's just wonderful, starting the day's work with Labyrinth-CD while driving into the rising sun! Thank you, Sting!
Tweeeedley dooo twiddley tweeeeeedddley doooooooo
To DIEEEEEEEEEE
My art teacher recommended this to me literally 10 years ago and just now I remembered it was Sting who did that John Dowland thing. I still love lute music.
supi
Fantastico
The song is beatiful but is some here becouse school?
Were it 'Her smiles are springs that make my joys to grow/That flower the winters of my woe.'...
Couldn't tell you... This rendition is by no means complete where the lyrics are concerned, so...
Come again! Sweet love doth now invite Thy graces that refrain To do me due delight, To see, to hear, to touch, to kiss, to die, With thee again in sweetest sympathy. Come again! That I may cease to mourn Through thy unkind disdain; For now left and forlorn I sit, I sigh, I weep, I faint, I die In deadly pain and endless misery. All the day The sun that lends me shine By frowns do cause me pine And feeds me with delay; Her smiles, my springs that makes my joys to grow, Her frowns the Winters of my woe. All the night My sleeps are full of dreams, My eyes are full of streams. My heart takes no delight To see the fruits and joys that some do find And mark the storms are me assign'd. Out alas, My faith is ever true, Yet will she never rue Nor yield me any grace; Her eyes of fire, her heart of flint is made, Whom tears nor truth may once invade. Gentle Love, Draw forth thy wounding dart, Thou canst not pierce her heart; For I, that do approve By sighs and tears more hot than are thy shafts Did tempt while she for triumph laughs
Love this...Joy of singing.
I heard this before hearing the original, but this isn't bad, I don't see how people are bitching about this.
Agreed. But I'm wondering: what _"original"_ version are you referring to? I'm saying this for two reasons: first of all, as is discussed in the comments section of this video, the rendition shown here _might_ well be one that is actually very close to what John Dowland has actually intended with this song.I'm being careful with this statement though, because I'd rather keep my head on after writing this, and as you might expect, not everyone is in agreement with this theory... To go with those favouring classical renditions as being closer to the 'original version' of this song, there's yet another caveat: there simply are _so many of them._ This means that you would be hard put to actually point one of them out as being the original version... I have to say though, I really like the version shown here (or I wouldn't have uploaded it). It might not be to everyone's taste, but it certainly does show this song in another light. You might want to listen to the rest of this album ("Songs from the labyrinth" by Sting) if you like what you heard here, too. The album includes more of John Dowland's work performed in much the same way as this song, but it also includes poetry by Dowland, read by Sting. It's an interesting album to listen to, if this is to your taste.
This is the ultimate in Douchebaggery.
I just listened to a couple of classical renditions of Dowland's songs and then came here to cure my ears. A bard was what we'd call a singer/songwriter these days. I don't even know how classically trained people get the idea they're doing his music justice.
Not sure how anyone can say that Sting butchered this tune when the original has never been heard. It's his interpretation, damn critics, let the heart decide.
Christopher Selby it'd honestly be funny if the original ended up sounding identical
Although, the purists have slated Sting for this, I think they are unfair! Stings intonation is impeccable, and in my opinion , his interpretation of this work is highly credible! I suspect that John Dowland would be very prowd if he knew that a Rock star would be performing his music 400 years after his death!
Sure he would !
Surely this was the rock music of that time
You are right! He sings like a troubadour!
Can you tell me how to fix leak / drip problem through the steam nozzle?
Do you mean occasional dripping after you've made a cup of coffee? Ore consistent leakage during preparation? In case of the latter, you might have to get down and dirty, because you will have to check each and every one of the hoses inside the machine... Unfortunately, I cannot post a video on how to do it, because my Odea died 2 years ago... The compressor was lifeless... Unfortunately, that proved to have been a fatal failure. After a good 14 years of service, it was time for the machine to be replaced...
Yes, dripping after making a cup of coffee! Dripping constant water through the steam nozzle. I have no idea how to stop. A shame to have lost your Odea Go.
Ah... You already tried priming your machine, I presume? By priming, in this case, I mean heating the steam outlet, as if you were to make a cappuccino, and then just opening the tap after heating it, This can alleviate blockages in the system. Although if you've never (yet) used your machine to prepare beverages containing milk, then that shouldn't be a problem in the first place. This does, however, indicate that there may be a problem where the circuit is under too much pressure, or that a seal or gasket is starting to give out. Have you noticed it getting worse over time? As for the loss of my Odea, yes, that certainly was a shame. This video was made after I experienced the first real issue. I had tried many things to eradicate it when I finally decided to call the Saeco customer service (which, at the time, was stil operated by Saeco itself; not by Philips). I explained that I had had the machine for about nine years, so warranty was out of the question, and I then went on to describe my problem and whether there would eventually be something that I could do. The people on the other end then sent me a procedure from the service manual aimed at trouble shooting, which I had to execute. After that, they found the issue was caused by what is shown here in this video, and they went on to explain to me how to resolve it... Unfortunately, in the case of the compressor having failed completely, I figured that the machine was finally beyond repair, after having served me well for more than 14 years...
The luthenist is playing way too hard.
Okay, everybody, go to ruclips.net/video/8iACNRyQm1M/видео.html and hear American soprano Julianne Baird singing this song. Her lutenist is Ronn McFarlane.
"This video is not available"... Now that's sad, I would've loved to learn to know yet another rendition of this song! By the way, I do see the title of the video, so the link appears to have been correct. Just the video has been blocked for some reason.
I so love this !
Well at least he seems to be having fun.
i didn't know john constantine could play john dowland!
... sung with this natural voice it comes closer to the contemporary listener, in my opinion. It's respectless in a positive sense, rather a touching and warm than a skillful and technically admirable interpretation and that is an absolutely legitimate and likeable approach, I think...
Furchtbar!👎👎👎
LOL I have a CIB copy of this (DMG-TRAT).
That was the one that came with the link cable bundle right?
lmcgregoruk Yes, the "Interactive Cable Set".
I love to transcribe music
Missing 2 couplets.... he does sing them in this version: ruclips.net/video/xMDURI-mumI/видео.html
True… This particular one was recorded off the television. He does sing them in the ‘full’ version which is on his Songs from the Labyrinth album. I like your link, though - a nice hybrid between this one and the many more classical renditions out there.
