I seen your video when getting mine and like you, didnt cover the whole window because I still wanted to be able to see out. But! I've learned that the larger pieces kept whole are what create the larger rainbows! Idk if you figured that out yet... I'm planning on getting more now and back again trying to figure out which of their patterns create which rainbows. I think its more the size than the pattern though.

It's the color wheel. You didn't lift out your pink and purple. So when you added the dye, it turns black. Mixing all colors together primary ones and secondary, you get legit black. So the dye undertones had cooler blue, green, dash of red that's how you're going to get the brown it's varying amounts of this and so adding pink and purple to those is black, like you get when you mix all your paints together. Hope this helps you understand more why it came out this way. To prevent this: You must lift out your existing color as much as possible with a bleach bath (shampoo, bleach, 10 volume developer) or color stripper and then fill it with an orangey, dark warm toned level 7 blonde, then you can go ahead put on the neutral brown shade 1-2 shades lighter than you actually intend. :D

i got medium chestnut brown and the same thing happened to me but some of my previously pink hair poked through so it just looks like highlights with a dark black color

Please let me know how to extinguish the flame of a Wood Wick Yankee Candle like the big red one you have in the video? I watched a safety tips RUclips video from them and it says, not to have it near a draft or AC vents. So, based on that information, I can't just blow on it like a traditional candle. I contacted Yankee Candle customer support but they weren't able to assist me. I want to use it for the holidays but I don't want to burn the house down. Please help. Happy holidays!

I just bought this hair dye, in the light honey brown, with the suggestion from the Sally's associate but then I read the reviews saying it turns your hair super dark. I'm exchanging it for Wella, which a hair stylist told me to use.

I heard that ammonia free hair dyes typically show up 2 shades darker than the shade you choose so you have to go 2 shades lighter (a sally worker told me this so idk)

I'm by no means an expert on hair color but im fairly sure that the number that is associated with the color relates to the color on the hair color scale. For example shade '3g', if you look up 'hair color scale chart' 3 is listed under black. I recently found this out so I hope this info can help someone else too!

I just dyed mine last night to the 2N natural darkest chestnut brown.. 😭 and it’s super black although i experienced the same thing where i bought 2 box dyes of the same hair color and one creme was light and the other was dark brown then mixing it, it became the actual color which in the photo almost looks black but it has a tint of brown. Besides head & shoulders, are there any other good shampoos and conditioners ?

Candles are awesome. Blind and still enjoy candles. The scent and sound of woodwicks (not just the brand Woodwick but all wooden wick) candles should have more traction in the market and be more wide spread. Traditional candles are boring. Peace :)
