Nice video. How is the mattress? Too firm, too soft? Last year, I stayed at Citadines Soi 11. It was fine but the mattress was as firm as a rock. BTW, where did you book your room? I can't find anything lower than 39 euros a night by ASR. Thanks for the upload.

I ride a 1250cc bike here in uk. Last time I hired a scooter in Thailand the fines I occurred nearly every other day made me hand the scooter back & give up, plus the roads are insanely dangerous so just not worth the hassle.

The Royal Thai Police are a joke. REMEMBER - they are NOT there to fight crime - they are there to keep the population under control.

Number 6 ..... have a good crash including health insurance as it reulary occurs that people will take your way or drive stupidly and these people often do not have an insurance nor do they have money and you might end up in hospital or under this earth .....paying all the bills ...or your next relatives are going to pay them ..........if you should be dead included a fucked motorbike from the rental and because you are farang you are the one who is fucked anyway .... and if you can cope with all this ...... have fun on your motorbike in Thailand !

In my experience they start with helmet then go to licence and so on until they find something. In Patong recently the fine was 1000 bhat. I remember when it was only 200 bhat and only on the day or two prior to Police monthly pay day. And remember to keep the receipt with you so next time you can show the receipt and they won't fine you again.

It all boils down to their love of money, i live in Chiang mai and ive never seen thais getting stopped by police for license, or crash helmet offences, They see westerners europeans as ATM machines,

Pattaya, you can absolutely use local traffic, Baht bus and motor taxy , no extra ordenary costs . I life upcountry when i stay Thailand , no commuter service there . If i get closer to town i will get fined . Anyway , in Thailand you need next to your international license also the Thai license , it is the only valid 1 . Thai license not to difficult to get , more paperwork and time then getting it , but this way is the only way to avoid being fines ( if you do have the registration )

i would go to the rental and ask for the document for future and ask them to pay the fine (good luck with that bit)
