When I put a tape measure to my grades stick the inches don’t line up. This isn’t even a matter of tenths of an inch or decimal or fraction, the distance between 1 inch and 2 inch compared to my tape measure is not 1 inch.

Glad to see you guys back on the videos. You guys are the only ones with a grading channel that truly know what you're doing, and I've watched a bunch of other dudes that can run equipment, but don't know sheet about mass grading & true stake work. We took the retarded imperial measurement of a kings foot with inches and turned it into a easily convertible measurement system

White ribbon is a 1’ hikeup to grade. Yellow is 2’.. red id 3’ blue is grade. Dont use white for top of curb. Should be blue at grade on stake. Peace.

You mean normal units, and then the ammerican way. I love how you guys use tenths. Just go metric and there will be at least time enough saved at the end of the day for at least 2 more beers

We could have went decimal back in the 1790s. The Jefferson foot is 11.75" long. 47/48 of an international foot. 10 Jefferson inches in a Jefferson foot, 10 lines in a Jefferson inch, 10 points in a line, etc. 1.25 Jefferson feet is 12.5 jefferson inches is 125 lines or 1250 points, easy!
