Dragon - Dreams Of Ordinary Men (1986)
He was as good a vocalist as anybody
The guitar solo is one of the greatest. Dragon is so underated
Solo by the great Tommy Emmanuel
Just a great song, reminds me of 'uncle tom's cabin' by skid row
❤❤❤
Bruce Spence. What a legend
Australian band produced by Todd Rundgren
Only one Marc Hunter. Dragon was him.
I'm glad your uaed the original audio rather than the video clip audio which completly ruined the song with the stupid actor rambling on throughout. I have no doubt this song would'vw been bigger if not for the "actors voices" all the way through. BTW, is your VN Atlas Grey? Stick shift or auto?
Fantastic! Marks vocals are awesome!😊
Assyrians gods of war. Ask the turks, persians, arabs, kurds.
These men are all built different. Long live Assyria
Marc Hunter was a god, and Dragon was the greatest thing to ever come out of New Zealand. No other band from there comes close, and he’s up there with the greatest frontmen in the history of music
I'm an Aussie, drinking with another Aussie in Latvia listening to this
Aussie living in the Philippines... Listening to this over a few cold beers. Still amazing song!! .
Sharing is caring!! Do it with a Latvian!!
@@Mike-sh2cb he is a random Aussie who married a Latvian chick
@@FizzFizzFizzFizzFizz great stuff fizz!! Best to you and him!;
I loved this song when I was 15 now I'm 51 hearing it for the 1st time since around then. Ordinary men keep living the dream 🎧😎
Lol, I was 13, now 50. Dreams.. was the very first CD I ever bought in Jan '87. Still have it, still play it!
Forgotten Australian classic from 1986
❤🥃🎤🎸
My fav DRAGON song 🐲🐉💚🤍💚
I heard this on the radio today and I turned up and was singing and my 5 year old son was just looking at me! Lol! 🤣 Trip down memory lane and I have played it about 10 times now.....it's pumping right now! Love it!!!! Thank you for the wonderful memories ❤❤❤❤
You hear the Todd influence
This has always been my song👍
Such an iconic 80s song.
Yep heard them playing bloody awesome
10/10 hands down , do not pass go do not collect $200 🤗
One of the best songs , definately my top 10
Produced by Todd Rundgren
Sounds like horse shit to me…
The only thing that sounds like horseshit is you
One of the best ever
This song has an uncanny resemblance to Hey St Peter by Flash N The Pan.
These are the dreams of fourteen hairy men??
I used to have this on vinyl. The sound was so much better than this. I’ve read that vinyl sounds better than digital, but I didn’t realize the difference would be so stark.
You could wake up to this song everyday.
I think I did. 😆
timeless 😍
Who's here in 2022 ...it's like a freedom song ! We need now
Superb XO
Dragon was so very underrated...They had an awesome sound !
I still remember getting to see Dragon and the Choirboys one night at the Jubilee hotel in Brisbane…. It was just a random thing I saw in Time off magazine and it ended up being one the best nights haha. It was actually raining when they sung Rain.
All my heroes are in this video
They were so good .......
Still are.
Another stellar Todd Rundgren production and his solo is a stunner
God bless my grandfather's and other men's souls.
and their mate Tommy Emmanuel doing the guitar solo honours on this track
nah...that is Todd. His sound is unmistakable. Tommy on most of the album, but not this track
The eighties have a lot to answer for
Nothin' wrong with that solo!
Superb XO
34 years later this song still gives me goosebumps, this band is world class....RIP Marc

Marc!
Unbelievable song and harmony. WOW....Australian product!!
They’re kiwi! But they were based in Australia. Coming from an Aussie proud of our brothers across the ditch coming out with amazing bands
@@Yeowiepower Ahh same thing, both NZ and AU had awesome bands up until about 2000 when that was all abolished, and they began promoting music from the US, which was mostly rnb
Tommy Emmanuel plays brilliantly on this!
Kiwi.
I grew up with Dragon. Mark Hunter passed away a while ago. I will always remember him.
