It depends on what was actually going on, I personally believe that the rebellion was unavoidable because the Starks actions clearly show that they believe She was taken against her will, and there is no other reason for her to be hidden away in that tower unless it’s to keep her in a place where it’s easy for the prince to get to her, but hard for her to get away, but if she was in fact complicit in her own kidnapping then maybe the rebellion could be prevented

According to the book, he applied alchemically slowed down manticore poison to the tip of the spear, which is normally famous for killing instantly, but it killed the Mountain by rotting him from the inside and driving him maddness. Tywin was also allegedly poisoned but never confirmed. Plus he got the confession.
