A beautiful man with an even better voice. God rest you Seamus
Seamus among the angels may you rest in eternal peace 🙏❤️
Where Are The Words🎉? Asks A Galway Lady❤
Seamus and Teada just had it.But it is gone in a flash. But the memories will live forever with me.
I came to know Seamus’s music much to late. I listen to his music all the time wish l could speak Gaelic but here in the North it wasn’t talk in school’s a shameful history. RIP Seamus ur amongst the good up above.🙏🙏🥂
should read taught 🙈
I came to know his music much too late as well. But hearing everything on Raidió na Gaeltachta about him after his passing was so touching I felt the loss of him as though I had known him my whole life. Also, if you want to learn some of the language, there are a lot of classes and groups now that would welcome you - the Gaelic League of Los Angeles has free classes over zoom. There's people everywhere from Antroim to New Zealand who be there!
@@gwenbutler9687 Thank you so much for response. I have taken lessons but language is not my forte😞 I think the best time is as a child l worked in the Middle East and children on the beach were able to converse with each other in Arabic/French/English. Happy birthday in all three languages was sang at children’s parties.
We learned this beauty going to school.. Beautiful rendition.. brings me back to a day in Croke Park many years ago when Galway won the All Ireland Hurling Final and a member of the team sang this song from the Hogan Stand.. Go hiontach ar fad.
Ní bheidh a leithéid arist ann ❤️
Such a marvelous talent, great musician and singer, rip Seamus Begley, you will never be forgotten,

In my heart sinead o Connor the voice sqad😊
Oh James Connolly Was.... Not Shot ! In The Chair, All Battered And Torn, Our Irish Father James Connolly ! Had Already ! Succumbed To Gangrene.... ! Few Hours Previously !
Great version. Fair play daoibh.
Beautiful song, well sung by the best, what a loss
Rest in Peace Seamus ,-- Beautiful singing and lovely version of the Patriot Game
gone too soon , mighty man with the voice of an angel , lovely version of one of my favorite ballads
Go hálainn ar fad ❤️🙏
Legend it is because of singers like this we have our own identity RIP
Rest in peace Séamus.. And thanks for all you contributed to Irish heritage... Sorely missed... 😢❤
Probably the most beautiful version I've ever heard of this beautiful ballad.. Sung with the tenderness it deserves. Most singers just shout out the lines..this is much more beautiful..Go ndéana Dia trocaire ar a anam dílis..
Love John Sheahan pieces! I especially loved the inclusion of a Bodhrán in this rendition! Absolutely stunning
Ah, such a loss. Beautiful...
My grandad’s party piece. Go raibh maith agat, a Shéamuis. 💙😢
My Grandads too...he was a wonderful bass . I just wish I could have recorded him.
Beautiful 😢 God rest your soul Seamus
Cut out the guitar please
They say De Valera is greatly to blame for shirking his part in the patriot game ...so true.
What a beautiful soul with a beautiful voice. RIP Seamus
C if u can get hold of Seamus singing 'The Welcome' - beautiful. Rest Easy. 🍀🍀🍀
Very sad but true song. Sings it so sincerely from the heart no bitterness just truth and love of Eire.Times have changed but more change is needed and no bloodshed.. we have had enough of murder killings shootings kidnaps barbaric deeds on all sides .if it was anywhere else in the world it would have been sorted or never started.. The UK wouldn’t like if the Guernsey Jersey isles etc were ruled by Germany and rightly so. The people suffered hugely there. And for what more power more land and when the people responsible for awful crimes and cruelty against men women and children die they go to their graves empty handed. They might get statues erected in their memory but there are thousands of statues all over the world and nobody knows who they are for. We need to live and let live in harmony and love.
RIP Seamus Begley...
Rip lad
A huge loss.. RIP Seamus.
"We'll fight till death for Erin's sake" Séamus, rest easy wherever you, your music and voice may be rambling around the cosmos. Thank you for all the joys you gave us, many and varied, alway with a little surprise, you're missed
Beautiful. Gone too soon Seamus 😢
Great song written by Dominic Behan.
The worlds missing a true genius. If you meet my Dad up there raise a glass and keep on singing.
Hard to iimagine no more seamus rip
Beautiful, RIP Seamus.
God bless you Seamus and bless your wife and family now
RiP
