Just got the staples removed from my leg today. From whare they took the vain for the repair. Yep Going to be slow going right now.

Right hand drive is not that common. I thought it was a cool older Jeep and for the area I live in It is not a rust bucket. Fast food ya that is not fun for the drive through.

The one that I took apart was a King Speed motor from Ill. Just going to clean it up and put it back together for the 1970 Monte. Need to figure out how to get the Pistons cleaned up from the rust that is on them, Any IDEAs. Thank you for the comment and for checking out the Channel.

@dbomsgarage2613 aluminum turns white a chalky when deteorating, only fix is replace them, speed pro still makes that 11 to 1 z28 piston, I like using them under open chambers, work great bud, kerosene or wd40 to clean piston or aluminum

@@ChrisMcCutcheon-wj2pp Yep seen that before. Just these have rust from the rings. Other then that thy are fine. Don't have the funds for new. I wish I did. For my self just trying to make what I have on hand work.

@dbomsgarage2613 take an old ring, put a bit of tooth paste on them , squeeze the ring, pick up while slightly turning the ring in the groove, mild wire brush with denatured alcohol?

I built many of them for 5/8 dirt oval with 305 x rods and balance it held5600 around the track np more than 040 pn bore thin walls good like wish y I u luck

Not all the time. Every one wants a 12 bolt rear diff for it is a heaver duty rear diff then the 10 bolt. So I'm using what I have. I would like a 12 bolt rear diff but just out of my price range. Currie Enterprises sells a direct replacement for this application that is a much better rear diff. But is out of my price range. Thanks for checking out the channel. See ya on the next video.

Back to the owner . Changed the fuel filter and found that the fuel pump relay was bad. The owner was veery happy to have it back up and running. Thank you for asking and thank you for checking out the Channel

This is the oldest thing that I have worked on. Not knowing any thing about Model A's. I had my doubts that I could do the work on it. But my Brother is the one who taught me how to work on car's and truck's did not have a doubt that I would get it going again. Yester day I took it back to him. Drove it back in his drive way. yes it is. Bucket seat center con and no/ac. Also have a 1972 same as the 71 but with AC. Will be doing the rear susp soon. Thank you for checking out the Channel.

Still messing with it a bit. Has great compression, Also the carb is leaking real good. It is a tillotson carburetor.

@@dbomsgarage2613 Those are not that difficult to rebulid and run great once done. I recently did six of those and have sold all but one on Marketplace. The main thing to overcome with the tilly's is how flat they are where the upper and lower bodies come together. They have a tendency of warping there from the heat of the manifolds. Getting the bottom and the mounting flange flat is no problem using sandpaper taped to a flat glass. The upper body, however is much more difficult since there is some things sticking out of the parting surface. Very carefully filing that surface while periodically holding the two halves up to some light is the only way to get them flat again. They will leak and not run right if they are not flat. At this point, I have one left and have had no "complaints" on the other 5. ;o)
