Overwatch 2: Season 13 Is Great!
Hello! I'm ParalyzerT9, but you can call me Doc, and welcome to your home for all things healing. I hope you enjoy your stay! :)
Today, your favorite "only plays support" guy talks for WAY too long about this new Overwatch season lol! We cover everything from the Halloween mode, to skins, to patch notes. While I have mixed feelings about some things in particular, I think the season overall is going to be a great one for Overwatch players. Leave your thoughts down in the comments below, and take care!

by the time I did my first trial, I already did all DLC dungeons in HM (up to Castle Thorn), as well as vMA and vVH, I was more than ready to do trial, but I'm just too shy.. 😅 and also my average ping is 300-400 🗿, so I thought doing activities that involve many people like that would be a bad idea, but it turns out it's actually not that bad..

I think it's important to follow the "ladder". Play base game. Do dungeons, get used to how the game works, get into it a little more, look up a basic build for your class, get to cp 160, get some over-land or crafted gear, get into normal dungeons, get some good gear for your class. Get into vet dungeons with that normal dungeon gear, get a monster set. Then you're ready. That's it. Basic build, basic gear, step into some pug trials.

I remember when I thought I was not good enough to do normal dungeons let alone trials. One of my first friends took me through nWGT 2 and a half years ago just the two of us. He solo'd everything pretty much but showed me that it wasn't difficult and that there was no reason to be intimidated. Everyone starts somewhere.

Great video but it still doesn't solve the top 3 issues for me with raiding/doing trials. 1 I have no need or interest in any of the item sets. 2 You can buy the style motifs from guilds at faster pace than doing raids ever would give them. 3 The Mounts, Skins, Titles interest me even less than the item sets do. (also while I can't confirm this, some people apparently say that if you use lot of potions in Trials, you actually lose more money than you would make doing the Trial, but that could be just nightblade exclusive issue since they like to spam catalyst)

For anyone new, I’ll tell you rn, I have a buddy who only had a nightblade and was only 3 months if that fresh at 500cp when we got him into his first trial. He is now 900cp and is an integral part of our trial dps and has visibly and on paper improved drastically. This improvement cannot come from NOT running trials. We just had the other night, a 200cp dps arcanist come through for a first vet kynes aegis first trial run and did splendidly. Be not afraid. State you’re new to the leader up front and if you’re brought into the group, perform to the best of your abilities and learn <3

normal trials you can do naked so like, there's no harm in giving a go lol. (even under 160cp ) Vet trials are a little more unforgiving but honestly I haven't seen a normal trial "FAIL" besides wiping once on halls of fab last boss because people didn't follow people up onto the ledges and just stood in mid and died (I think that and AS are the only ones where if you don't move on normal you get annihilated). But, usually someone lives and can rez the newbies heh.

Good video. Let me add that it’s even easier to get started on trials on console since nobody has add-ons and nobody can see what your individual DPS is. I’m part of two trials guilds that don’t require parsing or DPS minimums. They also offer regular “exposure” runs to teach new players the mechanics.

After looking at the map, I kind of wonder if Zos has some desire to introduce PvPvE zones into the game... There are a lot of strips of land between already introduced areas where it would make sense to have a conflict, and if they're serious about wanting pvp to be a viable thing in the game, I could see it being a nice 'hybrid' solution.

You're one of the most positive MMORPG creators out there, and I'm so glad this popped up in my feed. More people need to hear this message. In so many games, all we hear about is the toxicity in group content, which leads to even more people avoiding it-just making things worse. If we all chose to participate and treat each other with kindness, our virtual worlds would be much better places. By the way, I was eating spinach while watching-hope that gets the Doc's approval!

Interesting. I've heard so many warnings of experienced players saying you need to be very good to even attempt Trials, I have still wanted to try, but I just couldn't find a group to do them. I'm a relatively average player and have never did a Trial, but I doubt I'd not be able (at least for the regular difficulty ones).

I kinda immediately joined vet trials once I hit cp200 or so. I was far from ready, did about 40k dps on a nightblade, got a lot of shit from everyone. However that was also the best way to learn how to play them. It forced me to do more research in builds and strategies. Now, Im doing 100k+ dps on the dummy and I have enough cleave damage with my arc to add something to the team. Going flat on my face many times accelerated my development in this game. Im still considered a relatively low level player in the end game community. But Im parsing higher and playing better them most players sub cp1000. Some tips nobody tells you: Cleave is key! Dont bring your heavy attack sorc in a trial! Provide synergies for the team! Everyone is playing together, the better your team mates are doing, the better you are doing. And the one that is maybe most important: for the love of god, stack with your team!!! The best teams are moving as one, this will literally save your healer a couple of years on his/her life expectancy. And everyone will be doing more damage.

i'm CP 175, and just as i've hit CP 160, i've been farming dungeon sets and currently have 2 5 sets (Leviathan & Toothrow) and a monster helmet (Slimecraw) so you can see i'm a dps who's more focused on criticals. i've done A LOT of research on builds , mechanics and i've really studied the game A LOT before i even started playing, and I can say that i'm good in the game , i know pretty much all of the mechanics & basics , practiced my rotation and all and i'm fairly interested in trials for sets to improve my build , so i've been thinking once i've hit CP 160 obviously because of the gear cap , then i'll be able to start doing trials , but the biggest obstacle for me was and still is tbh , the fact that it's a somewhat serious group content and so people won't really take you in even for normal, can't find groups that are doing trials i'm intrested in doing. i've been thinking about joining a guild as i've had the feeling that would make things more "straightforward" as to jumping in trials for the first time , but the amount of guilds out there , and to know which one is really beginner oriented (even though i don't see myself as a beginner) has been a little crippling in the search.

Totally agree with your main point. The biggest obstacle for players in normal trials/arenas is the fear of the unknown and the fear of being a burden. However, the take that 'arenas have almost no mechanics' is a spicy one:) Perhaps what you meant was, 'You can ignore all mechanics on normal difficulty, just like in normal dungeons.

Having roughly 3k hours in both ESO and Guild Wars 2, I think taking a page from GW2 with a backpack/back item slot could be a nice little stat boost or one piece set. Nothing too crazy but stuff like bonuses to recovery or X skill does its thing slightly better. Could open more cosmetic options as well. Im totally still not upset we never got capes like what was shown off in pre-release footage.

    • @ParalyzerT9-Gaming
      @ParalyzerT9-Gaming День назад

I would say if you have access to a trial dummy, it would definitely be worth it to test out your dps! While there isn't really a dps requirement for normal, most vet trial groups will ask that you parse a certain amount. That being said though, from what you described to me, I think you should at least try one of the Craglorn trials! See if you or someone in your group can run Dungeon logs. This will be a great way to form a baseline and compare yourself to other dps!

I'm still hoping we see more of the world of Nirn. So far we've only seen the continent of Tamriel, but we know that there are Akavir, Atmora, Pyandonea, and others. They can't really set a future Elder Scrolls game on one of those continents, but a game like ESO that's so far in the early timeline of games very easily could.

  • @jasonchui111

The answer was and is cyrodiil. Eso end game has always been the battle over cyrodiil that is ever changing so you will not run out of content so long as players fill the map and play and make content. Just fix cyrodiil performance, balance and pop cap and players old and new will flock to it.

2025: A new chapter with a smaller zone and previous bundled content such as companions and antiquities now behind an ESO+ subscription. At least 2-3 broken sets that get nerfed after a month. A Q3 and Q4 dedicated to Quality of Life improvements that are already available through addons e.g. mini map. At least a quarter dedicated to performance that results in worse performance. PvP changes that causes more PvP players to leave. A drop in population caps in Cyrodiil.

What's next? More of the same. They don't listen to what the players want. They'll keep making brain dead quests/ writing and trying to get new players, rather than do right by the long-time players. I imagine the game will get worse and worse for anyone but the most casual, and they'll have a skeleton crew, if they don't already, working on it as they move over to their next game. I expect the bare minimum in terms of quality, less so more likely, and further pushing away the players that have been playing for years, wanting improvements, more difficult and creative content. What we have now is what we'll have next year, and the year after, and the next, and the next, and the next...

Heyyo, I am new to ESO and just happened to see this pop up on my feed. Since you're a new creator I just wanted to give some feedback on my impressions. I think that you should have a more firm voice on what YOU want or what you think about things - you were very noncommittal, even when they are your opinions. Own what you think and what you want. I think this would also help you go into the topics with a few points, and then open it up to potential derivations or trying to start discussions. As for the topics, I would love to see some sort of class items to augment different playstyles, or instead of a new class, add some new morphs to some existing abilities or something. Overall though, it was well produced, and I will stick around to see how things go!
