It's funny, I'm surprised to see the legend of Shenli in N°1, because the CDrama quickly annoyed me after 4 episodes. I started watching this cdrama because of Zhao Liying, admirable and very powerful in Princess Agents, which I put in Number One, followed by Love like the Galaxy. I also admit that I don't really like Fantasy Cdramas, I prefer historical ones. Also missing is the legend of An Li, the long balade, etc.

Love Between Fairy and Devil is my favorite. I’ve seen it 5 times. I tried to watch Ashes of Love, Love and Redemption, Snow Eagle Lord and Princess and the Werewolf and I couldn’t get past the first episode. They’ve always been highly recommended but I just couldn’t connect with the characters I guess. It’s a shame too because I am a fan of many of the actors in those shows and this is coming from someone who has seen over 30 historical dramas.

Ashes of Love has always been one of my fave.

I do like Chinese historical dramas, however not for night time binges. I started because I wanted a way into Chinese culture, being dyslexic and slightly deaf language acquisition is hard . This helps.

Love and redemption is my favorite c drama and I've watched most of the drama's on the list And princess and the werewolf is so underrated I didn't want to watch it at first because the title sounded like a children's fairytale but I just tried and I was completely immersed in it if you are a starter I completely recommend the drama it's amazing.
