Heres the problem with my board. I broke the letter "K" and it doesnt work anymore. But when I check behind the PCB, everything is still intact. I'm really confused and I wasn't sure how to fix this. I also have a problem where if I press windows, theres a chance that instead of windows being pressed, it gets registered as if im pressing F1, 1, Q, A, Z all at the same time. any help?
Ye i got the same problem today my ”V” key stop working i checked if the socket poped out it didnt i tryed a different switch still No response idk if i need to do this for it to work
I have the same issue in regards to the socket popping off, however I have a little bit of trace that ripped off of the PCB. Any ideas on how I would resolve both of those issues?
in my situation the hot swap socket fell and i wasnt able to find it but i could buy some online except the metal thing in the board also came off how do i fix it do i just but like something metal in it or a solder a metal in it then i solder the hotswap socket?
This video was incredibly helpful, thankyou - it helped me fix my S key and Z keys on my keychron k2 v2 when I put it all together after months of it being apart, due to those finicky and breakable micro-SMD switches on the side. Your video allowed me to actually get my keyboard working in a usable state, rather than potentially fixing it to 90% complete then putting it in the "oh well, mistakes happen" pile. cheers.

@@alanalan1436 I resolved the issue thanks to issey83's help at discord. All I did was pretty much the same as what was shown is this video, but issey really helped me with the step by step process with much patience. You can hit him up if you still got the problem with your pcb sockets.

im confused because you're soldering sockets to other sockets and i get that the diode is unique for each switch so....im worried I'll get it wrong
