GT - Clemson '04: The Muff and THE CATCH
Просмотров 108 тыс.17 лет назад
Incredible ending of Georgia Tech vs. Clemson in 2004. GT scored three TDs in the last 4.5min to take the 28-24 win. This is Clemson's muffed punt and THE CATCH by Calvin Johnson with audio by Wes Durham.
Painful to watch. Talk about snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. Tough night for Geoff.
I was there.
i see grt things in future for them
I'm having a CT scan tomorrow for a suspected tumour (mine is on the cheekbone at the TMJ). How are you doing with everything? Was the scan scary?
That play sequence never gets old. GO TECH GO TECH GO TECH. Now, in 2022, Clemson will win 48 - 7 or thereabouts.
Dude, D Coordinator puts single coverage on CJ and loads the box. Lol dumb
amazing performance!!!!! i love to hear such a large group singing this arrangement!
Megatron!
"And the legend is born in Calvin Johnson!" From here all the way to the Hall of Fame. Go Jackets!
Yep, had to find this one on RUclips today!!
Never ever gets old I’m just happy to say I saw it.
wes durham is awesome
Ya know, if y'all practiced on weekends, I'd be willing to make the drive down there to join you.
Great win for Tech. I wish there was a video of the last five minutes of the game, when the Yellow Jackets scored three touchdowns to win, after being almost hopelessly behind. This was probably one of the Top One Hundred wins in Tech football history.
GOAT.....I wish he would have gotten a chance to play with a good team in the NFL
Great performance!
This is fantastic! Well done, there's a first time for everything, and I'm so glad to see this stirring piece done by a great choir.
Wow!! As a Ringmasters fan, I became familiar with this arrangement for 4 voices. Hearing Notre Dame Medley done as an ensemble was a treat. Just proves that an incredible arrangement can be sung in different ways. Kudos to all of you.
Thanks Kathy! Trying to tackle this incredible chart has only made me more in awe of Ringmasters!
Aaron Dale deserves the most credit for the amazing chart! Just a side note, if you like Ringmasters, I have a created playlist on my RUclips channel with approx. 410 Ringmasters-related videos. I don't make money from it; I just love sharing the music. Thanks.
You do know that just because the tenor up the octave it changes the minor into a perfect major chord which is simply amazing ..I think tthe bass are singing minor sequence when they drop to the last A2 tenor goes up the octave which was overwhelming to hear
THE LEGEND IS BORN
This never gets old. Go Jackets!
Megatron was just a freshman and Justin Miller (the corner covering him) ended up going in the first round to the Jets in 2005.
Dobey Doberton actually Justin Miller was a second round pick but yeah still pretty crazy
@@Jermboy11 this is correct. He was a pro bowler in 2006 also
LMFAO @ this commentary "holy mackerel" jesus christ I'm dead
wes durham is such a great broadcaster. I'm sure tech fans will miss him...i'm just glad he's not leaving the falcons!
We do.
a legend is born
Sure, but come on, no one would think to do that in the craziness of that situation. Panic and instincts take over.
@Jean0987654321 It was. I took the ABC video and overlaid the GT radio broadcast over it. The announcer is Wes Durham.
I thought dat was Nessler
the same thing happened in the 2001 game against GA Tech.
@ClemsonC17 and two losses right? Clemson is GT's bitch.
@gtboy453 oh yeh, 07 and 08..the years he was injured against yall...i dont think he played a down in 08" but he almost had a full season of stats against yall this year...6 or 7 touchdowns...200 yards receiving..bout 400 yards rushing...dont think Calvin own quite as many NCAA records as spiller
@gtboy453 but when yall came back in 06' he def wasnt the best player. How many catches that year...0..spiller dominated
This NEVER gets old. Watched this at my grandpa's house. There's still a dent in his ceiling from my jumping and totally losing it ;-)
@gtcu17 '06 was not good at all. i'm still sad after that.
when this went down, we were riding up 75 to a party...i was weeping and suddenly absolutely lost my shit. almost leaped from the car wholesale. the best moment of the reggie ball / chan gailey era, probably.
SON OF A GUN!! i still can't believe they didn't give any help on calvin over the top. give the poor CB a safety of something.
I miss Calvin Johnson as well, but we have some good players in BayBay Thomas and Stephen Hill. Oh My! "Happy Days are here again!"
This is one of my favorite memories of college at Tech. Freshman year, first away football game,,,I miss Calvin Johnson in a Jackets uniform!
for all the crap reggie ball got he did throw good fades to CJ throughout his career
biggest mistake of my life was leaving this game early
You know what he wanted to say, lol.
haha check out the ball boy celebration
Son of a gun!
Yeah, you can tell ole' Chan thought we were going to win about as much as everyone else in the stadium. :) ps, so am I.
he shoulda kicked it into the endzone. They woulda still been winning by 1 point, and GT woulda had to go like 20-30 yards in 10 seconds w/ no timeouts.
it was Clemson's fault on playing Calvin 1 on 1 on that last play, you knew that poor CB was gonna get beat! Go Tech
we say that now that we know who Calvin Johnson was. Back then he was just a freshman. Miller was a freshman all american, 3 year starter and all conference CB who would be drafted in the 2nd round in a few months. I think the coaches thought he could cover Johnson 1 on 1.
@@tedjordan7567 I get that, but no safety help on a 6'5 receiver that torched you all day? How tall was Miller? 5'11 or so?
This makes me sick on my stomach.
Clemson was better for the first 55 minutes, but those last 5 belonged to Tech. ;)
I was at that game...Tech fans can thank clemson for that win, because Tech def. was not the best team on the field that day.
based on what?!? we finished with a better record, beat yall, and won a bowl, despite having a much tougher schedule. Clemson always plays weak comp in the Atlantic division.
Ted Jordan because the game was over. Clemson ran the ball all over tech that day. They beat themselves.
This loss belongs to the punter, punting that deep any problems with the snap at all should make him think safety. I can't blame the D with a momentum shift like that.
And most of the games were played at GT's stadium because... Clemson sucked until around 1973.
