A drive from just outside Glasgow, following the coastal road down to Cairnryan. Some real time, and some timelapse. I did this drive in an afternoon, but you could easily spend a couple of days doing it. There is amazing coastal scenery, and some fantastic towns and villages along the way. The journey finished with a crossing to Belfast - see my Mourne Coastal Route video to see what came next.

This is a time lapse video of the coastal trail from Belfast, heading down to the bottom of Northern Ireland in Newry, following the Mourne Coastal Drive route. Beautiful scenery, amazing beaches, and some lovely towns and villages on the way, this has to feature amongst the best drives on offer in the UK.
