This video is so well done! There’s not a lot of introductory chit chat. He gets right to the lesson. This step by step video is exactly what I needed to help me fine tune the flower vine applique I am doing on a quilt. The information I needed on using the point to point tool, the no sew selection in stitch properties, and the tip about making the zig zag wider and more dense are a few of the many helpful skills I gained from this tutorial. ❤

What if. I have no stitching at all

My Solaris came with 3 three bobbin cases, one is the gray one.

I have a Babylock Ballad and Chorus... Had the ballad serviced in January. Only have abt 115,000K stitches and it is making that "noise!" I brought it in because I had used an iron in interfacing with a project (fabric bookmarks) and the silly stuff left all kinds of little "pellets" debris in my bobbin area.... Like the glue pellets? So I clean often in my bobbin area anyway.... I added oil to the area below the bobbin - is that all I need to do? I don't want to pay another $135 technician fee just to have it looked at - and if they can't "reproduce" the issue I still get charged....i would like to learn to service my own machines. I have five Babylock (two sewing, two serger, and the Euphoria) And I find if you don't buy them locally they don't want I service them very quickly. (even under warranty! 😢)

Whew! A lot to learn, but I finally arrived at a lesson that may prevent me from giving the Destiny back to the store as a trade in, since I'm mostly quilting and making clothes, and I have not been able to get classes at the retail shop to instruct me about the features of this machine. Wandering around a 1/2 inch thick manual just wastes my time, expecially in some cases where it states incorrect information! Thanks for a great and clear video. My only negative comment is that I really disliked the joking but disparaging remarks made to Patrick. This hostile badinage nterrupted the process and wasted time, and I found it offensive. Please skip this part. Patrick is not guilty of talking too much in this video; he's teaching. I'm not interested in whether or not he talks too much habitually. I'm looking forward to seeing this machine actually embroidery this design actually, and I'm interested in how to applique a sewn design.I will hunt around on your videos to find that information, if you offer videos addressing those subjects.Thanks
