Ignition Lock Cylinder Removal On 1970 Buick Skylark With Tilt Column
Просмотров 1093 месяца назад
this video shows the steps I went through to remove the ignition lock cylinder on my 1970 Buick Skylark convertible. I am sure this is the same process used on other GM A body cars of the same Era (Chevelle, Cutlass, Lemans, etc). I is probably even the same or very similar process for most all General Motors vehicles for several years. A couple things to note about this video. My ignition key ...

Great 34 Ford, my favorite year, love the 33 and 34 Ford COUPE'S the Sedans also, very interesting story, hope you get the OLD FORD on the road again, I know it's means alot to you, especially the memories of your Dad, Great video enjoyed the History of the Car, looking forward to future updates, SUBSCRIBED.
Stop pumping the gas it would go .😂
Kinda crazy. I like it. Looks like it was fun to build Gettin me thinkin 🤔
Lol
My lord WTF is it....
That looks like something I’d drive around in a zombie apocalypse 🤣
Looks great! Did you fix the bumper on the passenger side or get a new one?
We found a replacement that was in better shape.
Great job getting it fired up! Such a beautiful car.
Love it! My Dad had a '66 F-85 with a straight six and a Powerglide in the 70s. Good luck with the project!
Sheriff roy childress there's a known speed trap town and we're in the clarksburg county jail ......👍😁
Yard art that's not a rescue. Just moving it from one spot to another spot.
I should have specified....rescued from being scrapped 😀
You can still get parts for these cars some parts steel alot Fiberglass ! Chevies of the 40s Washington state is ur go to ! Good Luck ! 😁✌
came out of a ford c600tilt cab, you can tell by the engine mounts in the front and back instead of the sides

Was this also the tunnel in It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World?
I just looked it up. Yes, it is. The tunnel is on Soledad Canyon Road near Santa Clarita, CA.
She’s a runner! Some elbow grease and a rag and she’ll be at sema in no time. Plus a shit load of blood, sweat, tears, money, time, divorce lawyer, multiple psychotic outbursts,…… well, you’ll get there.
Hands down worst burnout I ever seen....if I was him ide sell the car buy a Suzuki Swift and change my Jodie
Sensacional 😮🎉
Side molding and radio$?
Thanks for asking. The radio is spoken for, and I need the side molding for my other truck.
Looks like a good solid foundation for a cool ride. Hopefully your son will learn alot on this project. Good luck guys.
@KaiserWillys has parts and they are going be your best friends
Wow that is in really good shape, great find for your friend
I had a 65 f85 but the prior owner swapped the 330 with a 350 rocket. I loved that car. Soon I will have a 65 442 convertible. Nice car, hopefully you got it restored.
Thanks. I didn't get it restored, but I got it cleaned and detailed as much as possible and am enjoying putting the miles on it. It is a great driving car.
Come on you can do better than that. My friends 396 would smoke them for days, and that was back in 72.😎👍
330 is a forged crank😊
Wouldn’t take too much to fix that baby up man, I envy you.
He was just idling.
Good ole IH
I never saw the weight slide up.
I didn't see it move much for sure. We would do that so a terminally ill teenager could win with his allis chalmers tractor.
Excellent
That was a good pull. I was there that day and talked to the owner. His truck has the Same inline six as my 59 B-120 very torquey engine as he demonstrated. I liked his technique no high revs no spinning tires just a good strong pull. Thanks for posting.
noice prey!
At first, it reminded me of an old radial engine. I love these vehicle resurrections because i've done plenty myself. 👍
Sounds like it's only rapping 6 cylinders.
When I was 16, I had a 1969 International Travelall. Same engine. It was cool.
this channel deserves more attention, great work my guy
Thank you!
That engine sounds healthy. If you remove the mixture screws and blow compressed air through them sometimes it will clear out the idle circuit. Glad to see it fire up so easy.
With the five speed that would be a fun car to drive.
Have a few myself, where are you located and is the car for sale?
Thanks for asking about it. I actually just sold it.
Darn. I guess I won't subscribe if the Formula is gone.
@@quilbillygarageDamn, I want it too
Bad ass, love it. LL 3rd gen ‘birds!
Nice !! I gotta 85 g10 shorty
That is a very unique and cool old truck. That tall box could be used for all kind of things.it should be fairly easy to get running. I started my 73 travelall that had been sitting for a couple years and it fired right up. I would like to see a video of that truck running.
Cool truck
Do you have any parts for sale? I’m rebuilding a 68 D200
I will. I just need to make sure I have all I need to finish my project.
Congratulations. Nice process!
do you want to sell that car??
I don't want to sell, but thanks for asking.
@@quilbillygarage . great car!!
Will a toploader bolt up to that bellhousing?
I don't know....sorry.
I’m rebuilding a ‘67 Power Wagon W200. Should be on the road by Independence Day. It has a 383 as well. Gl w/yours!
