All of the wiring diagrams show a relay between the battery and the load with a wire connecting to the meter computer able to turn on and off the relay but what is that all about because nothing I find in all of the RUclips videos show anything about that relay. Is that just a turn off, all 12 V power remotely if needed?

Hi Junctek, I need help, I just installed this battery monitor and was very happy with it at the start. I set the battery bank capacity to 300ah and when fully charged to 100%. Everything was good, but after a day I noticed that all readings were still the same. I turned off the charger, put on a few more LED lights and the monitor showed all these changes, but the app on my phone is stuck on the original settings. Even still showing it's charging when the charger is turned off. Can't change any settings on the app, can't turn it off and can't disconnect, nothing, not giving me real time readings, it's frozen, any ideas if you read this post, thanks in advance.

Hello, can you confirm that the coulombmeter function does what I think it does, namely: During the life of a battery 1-10 years (whatever it is) it charges and discharges, the coulombmeter function measures what current comes out and what current comes in (subtracts and adds - averages, etc.) then results (normally after several cycles, not instantly) the capacity in Ah of the battery. Let's say we have a 100Ah battery and I cycle it 20-80%, the coulomb meter should show me after some time a capacity of 60Ah (ideal). If we reduce the losses, I think somewhere around 55-59Ah. This is true ? Does it do what I think?

However, I'm unsure if I need a larger shunt as my car battery has 500-600 cold crank amps (Honda Element 4.2L, 4 cylinder). I've seen many people using this product in RVs, but I'm not sure if they're using it on their starter battery or on their secondary/leisure battery only. I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. Unfortunately, I'm unable to reach the manufacturer.

What are you talking about in the Settings tab section??? This meter can't control the shunt in any way possible, that shunt is a dumb piece of copper and will not offer any kind of protection whatsoever... You definitely talk about something else, please explain what sort of protections this meter can offer again?

Wow! i'll need to play that video multiple times and at 1/4 speed, to digest all the parameter function and settings. Finally, an explicit video to untangle such a valuable instrument. I noticed that a lot of the parameters resemble that of ANT BMS, the newer version. So that will help there, as they also have a PC monitor software as an option to bluetooth monitoring. Thanks for the clear explanations, but I think a link to the manual makes sense so that we can follow along the videos and memorize all those mnemonics.

Hi, I have a doubt The 100a version is really a 200a shunt. I understand that you do that to be "confortable at high limit of current" But if I use it normal a low values and sometimes during short times at 125 or 150A.... Does it measure them? Or is it software limited at 100A? I know that there is a 400A version, but I understand that under 3A or even under 1A the accuracy of 100a version will be much better than the 400a version. Is it ok to connect a marine grade fuse block terminal directly to the negative post (take the fuse out) and connect the shunt where the fuse was? That way it would delete the cable coming off the battery to the shunt. Then a run of cable from the load side of the shunt to the negative bus bar. I figure it's always better to make as few connections as possible.

Do you have some kind of chart that compares the differences in your models? I was looking at the KG but I see this KH model is fairly new. Is the only difference the addition of low temperature protection relay triggering? (I am aware that you have to buy your own relay)

I have one too, under testing. I can see that is accurate and intuitive. The bluetooth connection is a nice plus, and the application is cool, but with some room for improvement.

I have one of these in a mobile application - nothing short of fantastic. And at a fraction of the cost of its competitors!

I connected all, the screen works OK - BUT the Bluetooth won't work. In Android the tablet can find the device but not connect. In iOS the iPhone can't find the device at all. In Android on my tablet as well in iOS on my iPhone, I already Uninstalled the App and downloaded again but no change at all. I also tried to set a different pass code, on the screen module, to connect the Bluetooth but also that didn't work. I disconnected the main module from the power and reconnect, no change. I did a full reset on the screen module, no change. Still doesn't show up in iOS. Shows up in Android, asking for connection code, but doesn't make the connection :-( 😢 What to try or do next to make this work ??
