This is my medieval minecraft city. I started out building the cathedral but seeing it tower over empty landscape I decided it could use some company. EVERYONE THINKING THIS IS RENAISSANCE, READ THE DESCRIPTION This city is still a work in progress, as I will add walls, a castle and a larger harbor. Everyone saying its a bad city, it was made in 2011. For the materials they had back then, it was an amazing city. Kargeth is better, but only because they had more materials when making it. Well done for this cool city.

Lol, you are so stupid, this is a very good map for minecraft beta. This was made in a beta version of minecraft, there weren't as many building blocks or decoration to choose from to make these buildings look really good. Please remember why it might look bad to you, before you go posting stupid comments.

I do not believe this is medieval, this feels early-mid industrial era on the flat, highly regular buildings found in 1:18 - 1:35 and in other places around this video. The streets are too wide and too clean. and things like smooth-stone (which i feel is concrete for some reason in this video) were too difficult to make en-mass during medieval. Sure there are medieval buildings in this vid, but that doesn't make the era medieval. There are still medieval buildings that you can find to this day.
You should surround the town in a 50 m tall stone wall and call the town Trost. Points if you get the reference.

Make a .bin one it works better so we don't have to go through too much trouble all we have to do is open up modio and do the steps and were done, but think about the ones that don't have winRAR or winZIP...

I want this as my faction home with a big wall...
beautiful. I was looking for map downloads in vanilla so I could load them in my FTB server so me and friends could renovate an electrical grid. I am not the greatest architect, and before I played modded I loved redstone. Now I love IC2 and its electrical grids. For a map I would like to renovate I think this one takes the cake. Time for an Industrial Revolution!

looks awesome, except that I picture medieval cities with less of a "grid street sytem"... more twisty roads and alleys, you know.
This makes m sad, compared to this my builds look shittier then taco bells toilets :(
