Loved how you used Leslie Howard's recording! I think that he is one of the best Liszt pianists as he recorded EVERY Liszt piece for piano. I repeat, EVERY single Liszt piano piece including many, many, many premiere recordings.

Es difícil conseguir la partitura. Tengo la partitura de la Sonata No. 2 en la Editorial Peer International.

Al estilo de Debussy y de Scriabin. Excelente Nocturno. ¡Gracias! A Ponce le valió el viaje a Europa. Tal influencia también le ayudó en la Sonata No. 2 para piano.

Es una pieza rara, difícil de conseguir la partitura. Es la primera vez que escucho esta magnífica grabación. Gracias! Por compartirla.

I listened to the whole thing here on RUclips and I have to say it became one of my favorite Liszt's pieces! It's so beautifuly strange, majestic, deep and dark on some places and jolly and bright on others. Love this part too, but the full orchestrated version with choir is simply beautiful.

Especially the start is giving rhapsody in blue vibes

No.20 is the weirdest Hungarian rhapsody i ever heard ( i know it's Romanian Rhapsody) Even the score looks weird

the 1840s' audience would have had their heartbeats skyrocketing at 4:39 onwards lolol, such a catchy part, possibly one of Liszt's most exciting passages xD

Interesting. As a good composer and a teacher, it’s a good way to simplifying and rewriting a piece without totally ruining it for your students.
