I can see how some people like this mission, but I hate it with a passion. I’m not that bad at the parkour, but the stupid PvE moments. They just pulled the annoying “fill the room with a ton of high damage enemies, and try to play it off as difficulty” trick

The lost sectors Sepulcher and Metamorphosis in the Throne World can be done with a fire team in around 90-120 seconds. It also requires no character swapping for checkpoints. They reward 16 or 17 plus the 3 for opening the chest yourself each run. So that is roughly 500-600 essence per hour. This is just as efficient if not more so than Shattered Throne. I bet the ones in the Dreaming City likely could be done in comparable time.

You can do the regular aphelions rest, boost yourself up to the end stage with the new exotic stasis GL by getting on a rock, killing the boss and opening the chest. You get 3 essence per chest, and a single run can be done in 50 seconds if you have a good rhythm. This means you can get 180 essence per hour, which is 18 cookies. It's not perfect, but if you're solo and not that skilled at running legend lost sectors, it's okay.

The Lightfall campaign mission thing is actually probably even better. You barely even have to play the game and get essences very fast

i might try this. ive been doing the closest lost sector in the Trostland and its like 45ish secs and you get 3 essence. you go fast travel or just run back far enough to start it again. it adds up super quick. its boring tho lol. in 10 mins its like 25ish

you know when caiatl starts to run at boss damage if you run up to caiatl real quick you can slow caiatl down so your team has a chance to make it to the bell for dps or part of you team may lose their dps phase.

"Perasites" is a very poor descriptor. If anything the people who join a raid team with 30 light under who claim they know the mechanics but have no idea what to do, and are along for the ride expecting to be put on ad clear (which they don't even have a build for) so the rest of the team can carry them and they can get the loot, are more like parasites. When I started getting into raiding I made sure to watch a guide before trying a first run of any raid and literally didn't get called out once because I knew what to do. Raiding isn't a daycare, it's endgame content for experienced players. We don't even expect you to have a crazy good build, one or two guys with good dps is enough to kill any boss in the game. But you honestly deserve to get flamed if you're so underleveled you get one-shot by every enemy, and expect to get a 20-minute-long explanation before every encounter when the LFG post clearly said "know what to do".

Haven’t played since the Warmind/Rasputin update. Lost in the sauce just rolling through the new campaigns one by one. Still on Luna lol

has anyone encountered a glitch in this raid? in the door opening section? after opening the second door and the boss spawns in the next room. nothing happens he doesn't move he doesn't put down the spit. and the 3rd door can't be opened!

Funny how you don't mention the amount of candy per activity. Haunted lost sector was giving me around 150-200 per run and was incredibly boring. Onslaught 10 wave was about the same. The big one was Nightfall. On easiest difficulty it was about 500 per run Manifest pages don't mean a damn thing this year. You gloss over the exotic class items as if they were nothing, but realistically those are the only reason most players will bother to participate. The new shotgun might be good in pvp because a two shot burst should kill at easy distances, but everything else is old and the new perks aren't that good. Most players already have a good incandescent 540 pulse and there are many other better snipers than Macabre.

I just returned to this game after a year off. First game of crucible I got called a dumbass by a sweat who didn’t like the shitty gear i had on. I found him two games later and he called me a bunch of slurs and left the match leaving us in a 2v3 in trials. I then remembered why I quit the game in the first place. People have no chill.

So, it's Oct 18th. I've been off and on for a couple of years but just finally knuckled down to play. (My main game got boring at 2000 hours. ESO) So, time to change speeds. I have a warlock main, but, really want to go with a hunter main. I am unable to start the beyond light campaign. I obviously cannot finish Cayde-6's quest line for the memories. It's been bugged a long while now. But, my warlock has stasis and straind and prismatic. My Hunter can only access the 3 first originals, I cannot hit launch on any other campaigns, when I went to Europa to start Variks quest line, he isn't there. The door is shut. So, wtf. Am I locked out of everything but the final shape?

Bro your guides are too complex these days, you used to be my go to but they just don't flow. Shield maiden has a much better guide for the entire dungeon that's less than 10 mins
