Why Arguing is for Weak People | Nietzsche vs. Socrates
In this video, we’re diving headfirst into Nietzsche’s controversial views on arguing and why he thought it was a weak person’s game. Yep, Nietzsche-a philosopher famous for questioning everything-makes a sharp turn and says that relying on arguments actually shows a lack of strength. Crazy, right? We’ll explore his ideas from Twilight of the Idols, where he draws a stark line between instinct and reason, even pointing fingers at none other than Socrates for turning the world of philosophy into a maze of endless questioning.

15 Stoic Principles To Build Self Discipline | Marcus Aurelius Stoicism
The wiil to power does not equate to justice.
People who believe they are impossible to manipulate are usually the ones chasing the con artist to give him money. It takes an intelligent man to realize he is flawed and littered with blind spots. Great video, brother; keep it up!
This is something that drives me crazy because I do feel like I see the world in layers and I try to see the connective tissue between all things and I feel like most people don't do that. And I come across more as being a wacko or even unintelligent when I'm saying something that is hard for other people to wrap their minds around. My biggest problem is is I don't always know if I'm actually right with my complex thinking which makes me unsure which makes me sound unconfident which makes people doubt what I say even more lol.
In general, people tells me I am smart guy. I really like talking about science and curious facts and I always shows a really logical way of seeing things. But I never really felt like a smart person. I see how everyone is so skillful in dealing with life but I am just not able to do the same as the rest. If it is true that I am smart, I think this video could reflect exactly what I struggle and how your own "rational" or "intellectual" world view makes it harder to connect with people, be successful in basic things, etc.
As a creative and intelligent person, I’m inclined to say it depends on your environment. Ultimately, most thing do. If you’re treated very well due to your creativity and intelligence, it might ultimately set you up for failure, and too much neglect can leave you a bipolar schizophrenic mess, so as is the case with all things, balance is key. Now, you can recover in later life from either extreme in your youth but this will ultimately depend on your answer to a simple thing: am I or are others responsible for my inner self? If you’re capable of detach and take responsibility for yourself, you may rise but if you keep on blaming others, you either end up committing edicius⬅️ or becoming a destroyer, punishing self and others until you eventually die a lonely and sad death. Ultimately, the human condition is tough for everyone.
because there is no sense when my both hands touch is the moment my ego dies? pardon
2:09 i understand what you mean, but you are vague friend. you dont need to erase every process that is happening in your mind, you must realise that it just doesn't matter. if you can find this equal value between yourself and all other people, thats a start
2:15 yes , agree but give nuances - the visual earth with all 8 billion people and every individual human sees himself as centre of universe (because our eyes and brain are the tools to perceice this world). materialsm world is real. but just not the thought we make up to fill in personality- unsubconsciounceness gaps. but dont say that everything is not real ;) this is already a hard theme to convey/understand, if we avoid being efficient in communication, then the already-hard-to-understand-theme is more unclear to understand.
0:39 disagree, we do physically exist. our mind/consciounceness exist
0:09 yes, i agree but you give nuances please. people live in their brainmade illusion. this is too complex and is inherent/unique in every local area in the world ( also inherent to whatever age a person reflects).. we in western world are allowed to think about this filosophical matter.
This message is far to pessimistic and simplistic in its assertion that the self is an illusory waste of time. It's only through the self and through the ego that we can transcend their limitations. You can never experience enlightenment without experiencing a certain level of falsehood and confusion. The ego is not your enemy and it's not holding you back. It's your your failure to evolve beyond the ego that's impeding your growth. Without an ego the individual has no psychological scaffolding where the emergence of a self concept can develop into personality. The ego is defensive and self centered in order to allow and defend the psychic space required to permit personal growth and maturity. We need our ego in order to grow beyond its constraints.
I'm getting suspicious déjà vu.
thank you, Your expression is amazing we need part 2 please
I don't have ego. I just have low self-esteem, lack of confidence. Lack of time but still i have hopes and dreams too..
I get your message "everything can change in just one second". I have experienced it personally. Once I took a little bit too high of a dose of grass. At first there were no effect, and in just one second my reality starts to bend. I couldn't recall my identity, where I was, I was just simply existing in a slowed world. I couldn't control my limbs. What I could control tho, was just my breathing. I breathed slower than ever and it felt like I have died that moment and was moving to the next realm. The night felt like it was very short even tho everything was slowed in motion, maybe because I was in a state where my brain cannot overthink stuff like I always do normally. After I woke up in the morning everything starts to clear up and I have a new perspective on reality. I feel like this experience could be impacting people's life differently therefor I suggest not to try this in an environment where you don't feel safe.
I am so lost, send a part two
We've elevated "ego death" to a highly performative non-substantive set of words. If you want to be generous and non precious about it, ego death is the soul's form of puberty. It's chaotic. It's not pretty or fun. When engaged well, it can be transformative in the most positive ways. The choice is yours.
If my Id and Superego do not deal with the external world directly, I'll keep my Ego, tyvm.
i enjoyed the pictures and low background music, only thing annoying was ur voice.
ironic 😂
his voice is fine
Appreciate the feedback. Next time, I’ll let the silence do the talking
ʅ ﴾סּ סּ ʅ ﴿ it seems that only practice might help
haha
My ego is smaller than yours😏
MY ego begs to differ.
Freemasonry MUST be abolished for the Human species to continue. <3
This is all ai generated, that’s why the transitions are so quick and I’m assuming the narration seems very AI generated too. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the voice is AI generated. This is trash. We shouldn’t support a channel without any human creativity.
It's all about perspective. We are all equally good and equally bad.
God is the real Devil
for my taste the transitions are a bit too rapid and some pictures really makes no sense. better fewer pictures with more context
WOW, I wonder who he is he speaking on? Allen Watts, here is your monologue. Sound bite: "confident enough in who you are that you don't need to be in the spotlight this" REALLY? SERIOUSLY Did you reverse engineer the augments you made to me? They are short lived after all, as some of what you say here directly became my reality. How dare you! You evil man. You have no heart and your lack of self worth is not mine. Don't take my word for it, just ask them. C-Ya-NEXT.
Superb video, my friend. But I'd like to ask you one thing. Would it be wrong to assume that the people who enrolled in the Stanford Prison Experiment were already personalities susceptible to corruption, and that's why they were attracted to participate in such an endeavor? Btw, you do a great job, keep uploading videos!
Thanks for the compliment Experiment was observed on the college students in the prison and everything was observed deeply can't explain it here, I'll try to make another video on it❤️
Lmao whoever made this video is 100% an incel who doesn’t understand social interactions
DAMNIT TO FKING HELL!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, no.14; You have a way to always get through to reach your goal. Even if that means you have to move mountains by yourself.
I don't recall us ever meeting, but yet you made this video about me
yah know, I just thought this was the norm... but apparently not
1000 people will think this is them. One will be right.
I mean, it's lookin more like 1 in every 500, it has 900 views and 5 comments, and since everyone on the planet is waffling lil b*tch according to this video, I'm gonna assume ONLY "intimidating" people are gonna leave a comment
Thank you : )
These AI images are disturbing. I spent more time thinking about our future subjugation by cyber-overlords and very little time wondering whether I have an intimidating personality.
Bros advocating smurfing irl
I would often correct anyone who said something I knew to be untrue not because it made me feel superior but because if I were wrong anout something I'd want others to bring it to my attention so I'm no longer in error. I was actually foolish to think that others thought as I did. They feel as of they're being attacked when being corrected and there were some people who I just couldn't get through to and would throw a hissy fit which was funny for a while but it was more trouble than it was worth.
It is unfortunate for Schopenhauer. Playing dumb is dangerous and completely foolish. Hence current standings in the revolving world. As information itself will continue to surpass the memory of any one individual, these philosophers all come down to one thing. Recluse. Nothing is learned if everyone prefers to play the fool. The entire construct of building intelligence comes with building confidence. The way you construct your mind is the way you as a person advances. Most importantly. There is by far too much information for any one person to know.
It’s not just intelligence, it’s looking attractive, being wealthy, getting girls….i lose an airline pilot career because some jealous people wanted to clip my wings. No other motivation but inferiority complex. The RAL danger is when GROUPS of people feel inferior to you (and you are not the boss)
I’m maybe a bit psychopath. People telling me I’m awesome just becomes a logical check in my brain “am I awesome? I guess so…= true” and that’s where it ends. And when people say I’m dumb or bad etc….a check is performed …”am I bad? Nope…invalid” and that’s all. Why are you all patting yourselves in the back or beating yourselves up for? Is your self esteem not solid?
That sounds like high self esteem rather than psychopathy. People have odd reactions to people with high self esteem, and tend to throw a lot of invalid criticism at them, but invalid criticism is like water on a duck’s back to folks with high self esteem. However, if someone makes a valid constructive criticism, a person with high self esteem will acknowledge it and not resent the criticism, but rather benefit from it. Constructive criticism is rare these days, though.
In all honesty, it's exceptionally difficult to be truly intelligent and introspective about existence on this planet in general. After all, the majority of individuals are most concerned about the temporal things: money, houses, cars, clothes, societal and social popularity, etc. When in reality, at the very end--the final precipice--when you cross into and beyond the void veil... how will any of that matter? :) To quote Denzel Washington--when he was teaching a relatively small group of theatre students: "Now, I've been blessed with makin' hundreds of millions of dollars. But I can't take it with me, and neither can you. So it's not how much you have, it's what you DO *with* what you have that counts. And we all have different gifts. Use them. Cherish them, don't abuse those gifts!" Must give us pause.
I will admit that more often than not, when I'm the fool, I'm not playing or pretending.....At which point I can only pray that such behavior of mine does not cross the line into assholeishness or even into the demonic. AND.....Assuming I AM just "SOOOOO" smart in a given context or situation, PRETENDING to be dumb or stupid is, for me personally, a lot of WORK, and since I am, or can be lazy, I generally want to take the "easier, softer" way--which I understand is NOT the smartest, which basically brings me back to the very beginning of this comment of mine?🙄
This kid don't play.
"I was educated once - it took me years to get over it." --Mark Twain
Terrible ai generated video full of errors
I think if you're intelligent you should not dim your light if people don't like it then f*** them it's their problem they need to stop being dumb and smart enough
Kamala Harris is doing this.
Why would a smart person wanna be smart? 🤔
Good question, I don't know. I DO know that being a SMART ASS can, at times, be amusing.....That is until the WRONG person, (or PEOPLE, plural) get pissed off the WRONG way, at the WRONG time, BY such "smart" assery.😶🙄🤣😭😱
