One of the BEST ever videos showing how to produce a neat, presentable back to embroidery with a home machine. A real game changer!! A bit more effort, to reload and change the bobbins to match each color shift, but really great results. THANK YOU!

At 2:47/48 you say you are going to choose your background to change your order. I don't know how you did that. I've played it over many times but can't find how to get into that window.

What foot are you using from the beginning? Is it a satin F foot? I’m confused because you used the same foot for stitch 25 scallop stitch, and also for stitch 1 , which the machine uses the A foot for.

Came to learn about these specific presser feet, and was pleasantly surprised by your almost immediate payment of the cat tax (you may have noticed the kitty walking downstairs while Michael was discussing the G foot). Cats and sewing are a great combo, as are doggos and sewing. They’re our quality control!

the instructions are interesting, but the quality of the video is analog. It's a shame, it's already the 21st century, and it's hard to see anything in your films. There are few close-ups, and when they are, they are blurry

I just bought the 709 from Amazon.I have been borrowing my sisters Brother i2700,not exactly sure that's the right number.I'm a guy who really only need's a sewing machine for hemming blue jeans or maybe sewing a shirt pocket back on after it has come loose.I figured if I had my sisters sewing machine,& it broke while I was using it, I would be obligated to fix it or buy her another one so I still wouldn't have my own sewing machine.I at one time worked at a blanket, quilt and drapery factory running a 120 bobbin quilting machine.

HI- My friend has this machine and I'm asking for her. On later machines that use this type of display and toggle for selecting stitches, it either gives you the letter for the foot needed for each stitch in the display or it is included under the stitch selection shown on the front of the machine. This machine does not seem to have that. Do you need to refer to the manual each time you want to change the stitch for the required foot or is there somewhere else it is shown on the machine? Thanks.

I just got my new mc6650 and as I come to a stop with my sewing it makes a grinding noise. I'm concerned something is wrong with it. I have re-threaded several times, changed the bobbin several times and it is the same. It doesn't do it every time but often. The stitching is pretty and doesn't seem affected. Any help would be appreciated.

Great instructional video! Thank you for making this, Amanda from Canada! I'm watching it 3 years later and it's still timely. It was straightforward, easy to follow, has shown me just what I wanted to know, and a gaggle of stuff I didn't know! All in under 15 minutes without a lot of chatter. Well done!
