Novice Pizza Oven Build Part - 11
(This is the new channel not the old that was stolen and held for ransom.)
The burn is done and at the end we fire up a couple....actually about 9... little pizzas. They turned out nice a crispy, hot and tasty! A couple of days later I did a second cook of a full meal and I am sorry the video was so long. The meal turned out fantastic and I had to loosen up my belt at the end of that one! So enjoy the video and in the next one (Vid 12) we will go over what I would do different if I did this again and also go over the costs of this build. How much $$$$$$$ did I sink into this project. Please Subscribe and give me a Like. Appreciate it. And to the new Subscribers, Welcome, glad you joined in

      @jutec6254 Are you using BS separator? If so, it (the fuse) is separated at the battery If not, I would think within 12 inches of battery. If you are installing the BS system, I would advise calling their reps. They provide a fantastic support service.

And secondly they can be 100 AH and 100 AH.Because I was told by the store where I bought it that the batteries should not be more than 60 AH left + 60 AH right Is this true or can I put two 100 AH . Plan on installing this on my pontoon this fall or next spring. Am I to assume the negative buss bar gets grounded back to the engine via its negative cable? Thanks for the great video, very informative!!

    • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 3 месяца назад

      @deanm5325 Hey thanks. I put EVERY negative cable on the bus bar hence the "title" negative bus bar. Bus bars can be negative or positive, they cannot be a combination of both. Sorry if you know that, I just want to be sure. But like I said, I put EVERY negative cable on that bus bar. As I stated in the video, you will probably not have a single terminal for each negative wire or cable so you may have to stack a couple like I did. Check out the wiring diagram. I did have one negative cable that was red because I could not find a cable that was black , long enough , and the correct size. That's why one red cable I put black tape on the connecting end about a foot up You will probably not have that situation because that was MY cable going to the 12 VDC fuse box I put under the helm. Take care....tag your cables and make a wiring diagram!!

    does this safe just drop in or is it secured in any way? can you just pull it out?

    • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 11 месяцев назад

      Yes it is secured. As was mentioned you will get 4 screws to go into the plastic truck consol portion. If you make no changes like I did they will work fine. If you do make changes you may have to replace them with longer screws. Just be sure they are not too long and come out the sides of the truck consol.

    • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 11 месяцев назад

      @PlasmaRifle40watt First....GO TO YOUR NISSAN DEALER AND ASK THEM WHERE TO PUT SCREWS!!! Second....the screws were about 3/8 inch and COURSE threads. And it v was self tapping. Once you put a screw into plastic you don't keep taking it out and putting it back so I'm afraid I can't b show you the ones I used. Since I raised my safe up higher so my full size weapon would fit it moved the edges further away on one side so I needed just a tad longer screw there. Key...self tapping, course thread, not too long and check with dealer.

    My question is this. I'm going to install the same setup in my center console and have a Suzuki DF175. I believe you have the DF150 on the pontoon boat. When you wired the switch, did you attach the Suzuki white wire to the switch? I don't see it attached to the starter battery terminal. Next question: I have a separate alternator wire coming from the Suzuki and bringing it to a 30AMP fuse in the console. Did you leave your alternator wire on the switch?

    • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 Год назад

      Hey thanks for watching. I decided not to mess with the ignition key switch. The reason is I would have probably caused more damage than good. My switch had the wires "hard jelled" in and the potential for me to induce problems and damage was way too high. While you can go into the starter switch, I do not know anyone that did so. When I talked to the BS reps they indicated if I didn't do it the would be no damage. I ran it that way for 3 years and ha no problems.

    • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 Год назад

      Sorry Kevin, I had written like 3X a much a response but when I went in to post it i noticed a bunch of incorrect auto corrects and it lost like 2/3 of what I had written. Bottom line, if you mean starter switch, I did nothing to the wires of the starter switch. If you are talking the BS switch, ALL engine wires went on the Engine lug that came from the engine. I would highly recommend calling Blue Seas and talk with Kevin or another rep as they are really good and will take whatever time it takes to answer your questions. THEY are certainly the experts. Again thanks for watching the whole vid and please let me know what you did.

    • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 Год назад

      Hate to say this but then it's not hooked correctly. Find the engine wire or cable and hook to engine plug on switch. I've never seen two but you may have two wires from the engine. One for starting and one for trim. If so then both would go to engine lug on switch. Pls keep me informed on what happened. But for sure if hooked correctly trim should not work if switch is OFF. • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 Год назад

      @user-mi2sp8dc6p I went to Blue Seas website and got them there. As I pointed out, few actually use them. I did on my big tritoon pontoon but I don't on my 16ft john boat. I am not positive but I think the hazard is to the ACR from over heating. When my HOUSE battery died on my pontoon boat I had to move all the cables to the START battery and I didn't use the fuses on the quick emergency rewire. I ran that for two days and when I got back home from that trip and replaced the HOUSE battery. I reinstalled the fuses. I experienced no overheating in those two days. I know the Blue Seas reps will push the use of the fuse mounts and fuses but I challenge you to find another video that does. I only found ONE other. Glad you got the problem resolved!!

    • @theoldshooter9011
      @theoldshooter9011 Год назад

      Check real close again. The positive cable to the helm that came with the boat does have a fuse. Might have missed it on the diagram but do point it out when going over cables. Each pos cable from the bettery. To the ACR also has a fuse. Blue Seas will really push the fuse to the ACR but reality is few use it.
