First ever Vlog! - Coelux 45 square experience
Просмотров 4,2 тыс.8 лет назад
Really bad production quality using a terrible recording device and no camera skills whatsoever here is my first ever vlog from Como, Italy! Was lucky to be in the offices of Coelux with a demonstration of the new verticle product that reproduces the sun and sky as if it's coming through a window. And had a rare chance to meet Professor Paolo Di Trapani! Also featuring Terry Woodley of Acoulite!

Coelux on Phone Camera - Dubai - Artificial Skylight System
Просмотров 40 тыс.8 лет назад
A smart phone video capture of the Dubai Acoulite experience center installation of Coelux 45HC. The product is available for viewing at the 17A Art Sudio, Al-Qouz. This is an artificial sun and sky system for use in indoors where no natural sunlight can get through. It's the worlds first, and so far, only true piece of technology that replicates the physical recreation of natural daylight. Thi...

Seven years later still no actual product anywhere
Plenty of variations are available from companies all over. just google 'coelux' or 'innerscene'
Как это подключается? Есть у кого то видео?

Solid sky! So dope!
How did they make the light seems like sun shining from further away? I need to buy one and disassemble it myself to see how it works.
It's a special mirror that reflects light in straight lines back at the source. It works same as reflector on any car or bike lights.
It costs $40,000
hey there's this youtuber who made one himself, and he's explaining the process and the sicence behind this, search on youtube 'Building an artificial sun that looks unbelievably realistic... - youtube user/channel: diy perks.

@@avtarchodankar9635 no, now it has lower cost. maybe you can subscribe me
Why buy this in dubai where its always sunny?
maybe this skylight can produce the moonlight and sunset
Hi all, here's a video on the CoeLux ST, the baby brother of this unit : ruclips.net/video/vDVrd631ThA/видео.html
Does the sun move?
Nukubu no its a static point with is preseved to be further away
Amazing
What about clouds and if so do the clouds move?
Hi Melody, no clouds in this instance as it's replicating pure blue sky.
@@KamDhatt there are products which replicate clouds? That would make sense
@@v44n7 No, not yet.
@@v44n7 just produce the sunlight
Hello, Possible to work together, i make lighting design in relux and sometime i need high resolution and details pictures from a room, so can you do high rendering?
That’s insane!
I can still buy a flat and put a skylight in there for that money.
Hi, it will work anytime, just like a light as it's pure electric light based using LED technology. You can install this in any building or floor as long as there is enough ceiling void to fit the product. There is a smaller version now you can see a video recently made by us : ruclips.net/video/vDVrd631ThA/видео.html
It seems to me as a photographer that the structure is similar to a softbox with depth az least 60cm with a high powered spot lightsource even a projector. I figure the structure must be deep because of the shadow it casts. Hence the effect. I would be suprised of it was flat like a conventional led panel because of the shadow. The window fram casting a shadow what makes this light standout. Its physics. Well done though!
No, that's not how it works. The rays of light are very close to parallel, like real sunlight. In order to do this with a spotlight, it would have to be much deeper than 60cm (more like 6m). The way they actually do it involves a flat edge-lit panel with an array of tiny extraction features that release highly directional light, like direct sunlight. They also use nanoparticles inside the panel to diffuse the blue light, just like sky radiation. Have a read through their patents, it's interesting stuff.
That's not quite true, look at Coelux's website data sheets. This light would be created using a 6 feet box.
''/ad who are you replying to?
Oh, so it's like a giant waveguide. Interesting. I wonder if you could make the project cheaper by doing away with the scattering and just shifting the spectrum of the LEDS a bit to mimic the distribution of daylight.
@@AndreInfanteInc Lower cost guide of replicating the effect ruclips.net/video/6bqBsHSwPgw/видео.html of course soapy water is not as 'stable' over time. I'd pursue it more as a science project than a home improvement.
neat. must be reshot in 360
how did they do this? The parallax effect of the point of light...?
Hello Riccardo, it's by using clever optics in the back of the panel, the clue to this is in the size of the back box. There's only a single LED light source which interacts with the nanoparticles in the window to split the spectrum in the same manner as the real world. It's best explained by the professor in the following video which you might find useful: ruclips.net/video/ryyJUHHYnS8/видео.html
