Is the job market for IT in switzerland good for English speaking only? Most jobs I see when searching require either German or French
@@Numbermind the jobmarket for IT is very good here. Maybe you searched for jobs in the west side of Switzerland ( Basel, Genf Bern ) but in general a lot of English speaking people work and live here. Sometimes in Zurich city you go to a restaurant and the waitress speaks just English. 😄

how hard would you say it is to find a entry-level/junior level SE job in switzerland? i am nearing the end of my bachelors degree in comp sci (in rappi) and would love to know, if the job market is similar to what i see on social media regarding the US job market
@@davorlucic4873 it’s not hard. The demand for SE is very huge. If you have a bachelor you will find 100%. And the best here is the job security. It’s not like the US. In US they can kick you out whenever they want 😃

@@KristijanRadičević Hey, I totally understand your fears. I had or have them too, which is why I specialized in SAP Engineering. Of course, fear was not my reason, but also my enthusiasm for SAP. The IT behind SAP is simply incredibly interesting and highly complex. But I also think that AI will not be able to replace programmers 100 percent in the future. I'm sure that programmers will still be needed, but the job will probably change a bit with AI. Programmers may work faster in the future thanks to AI, because you don't have to do everything on your own. I think we computer scientists have to see AI as a support tool. As I mentioned in my video, the world of IT is super fast and you always have to adapt. Think of Nokia, they didn't adapt back then and now they are no longer on the smartphone market. But to go back to your question, if you have the opportunity to go into cyber I would definitely do it! Because this area in IT is a very secure job as well as SAP
@@Moshware what would be your tips for beggining of coding and getting into cyber?, and is m1 mac air fine for it?
@@KristijanRadičević in my opinion begin with Pyhton and Java. And for cyber it would be very good if you focus and improve your knowledge in IT Networks, Firewall etc. And Ethnical Hacking. Nowadays thank RUclips we can learn so much! M1 is perfect 🤩

Could you manage to solve the DB issue?
@@jozsefgarab9273 yes, there was a parameter which called „global allocation limit“ when this parameter is not configured correctly one of the DB Tenants allocate all of the memory so your other tenants have big performance issues. SAPs database is HANA. This database is a MDC (Multi Database Container). You can run multiple database tenant on it.

Is it easy to get job as software engineer in Switzerland from Germany
@@Ahmedhashmi-e2b hey my friend i would say it depends on your skills and your future employee. There are a lot of companies here which don’t want to take the risk to hire someone from Germany because it has always some risks like most people feel homesick after 3 months and want to go back. And all of the hire process was for nothing you know what I mean. But in general I would say its not hard but and not easy. Just try your luck and never give up. IT is a very good job and companies search like crazy for good IT professionals

I am ABSOLUTELY a visual/kinesthetic learner. I learn by seeing and doing, and its how I think too. It bugs my manager that I ask him questions and then as soon as I verbalize it I have the solution. I actually used to keep a HUGE whiteboard in my bedroom before I got married just to keep track of my life and business all in one place. Been married a year and still trying to figure the best solution for that because I am ABSOLUTELY not able to keep a whiteboard in the bedroom anymore lol
@@PeterThompson5 that’s great!!!! Honestly I have never learned better!! Sometimes at work i get very complex task. And as soon i get the task I create on the white board the task and try to find a solution. And I would recommend to everybody that we should write down our goals. It’s the first step to solve everything. Even if you have a problem in life just write it on a paper and you will find after that your solution.

@@huhuiu8597 It depends where you live and what you do in your free time. If you always go in Restaurant eating it’s really expensive but if you compare the Situation in Germany or Austria the prices are nearly same … and they got not so much salary

@@uwuchano4362 my friend you can get what ever you want in live! Don’t be afraid of math, everything is about your discipline. Go for it!! I was very bad too in Math but you know my discipline and my passion was bigger!!! Nowadays you have a lot of good RUclips videos where you can learn. Some people understand math very fast and some need more and more time. I was the one who needed more time but it’s okay!
