    Well done video my man! I did the same job on my 97 Z28 about 2 years ago. I sprayed the bolts with PB Blaster the night before and again when I began removing everything. I replaced all the rusty nuts and bolts with new ones. The entire set was only $17. Also pre-greased all the bushings before installing. Also, grease fitting caps is a good idea. Keeps grit out. Also replaced both front and rear sway bars and bushings. 1in on the rear and 35mm solid bar on the front. No more squeeky bushings on cold mornings. Great cornering and more solid feeling during full throttle starts. Also added 2000 17" SS wheels with Michelin Pilot AS tires. Happy motoring 😊 !

    It's jobs like this that shows how out of touch the engineers and designers of cars are when it comes to replacing parts. There should be factory holes in the panel for access to the motor fasteners so drilling holes would not be necessary and they should be factory screws there instead of having to drill out rivets. With that said this was a good video.

    Thank you for the video. Best one I’ve seen yet. Doing this next weekend. I’ve had the drip drop gasket leak on the garage floor for awhile now. Shops wants 500$ to do this repair…..um no

    Gosh dang my guy! You’re supposed to stop when you hear the click on your torque stick. Not tighten it more after the click. Now the bolts aren’t at the torque spec that you set it too. But it looks clean though! Like how the red looks on there

    Just a heads up with the door panel removal, when you pop the retaining clips from the panel to the door, you're supposed to tilt the bottom of the door panel towards you and lift the top black sill rail off of the door edge on top. The way you did it, you broke the cardboard holes that the panel retains the clips to the top sill. Not to fault you or anything, this is a common mistake people make. And I have seen it on a few videos involving door panel removals. This is more so to help anyone else who may come across this!

    I have an 84 z28, would it be necessary to replace the springs at the same time I replace the struts? Nothing wrong with them, just want to upgrade. Also sticking with Umi for control, sway & Panhard bars

    • @RLEAL23
      @RLEAL23 10 месяцев назад

      Not necessary, but it’ll save you from doing the same job twice. You’ll have to remove the strut again in order to lower the axel to get to the springs.

      Es possible que Los springs no son correctos o ay unos plasticos en los lados que deben de parar el differencial que pege con el carro
