Fujifilm Acros 100 II
Просмотров 3554 года назад
Hello Everyone! I did have some additional thoughts on Fuji Acros 100 II that I wanted to share. First off, its clear that this is a Harmon made product right down to the packaging but still is every similar to the original emulsion from what I hear. Even though the Massive Dev Chart places this film with the same development time as the original my film came out under developed, so I'd recomme...

The Cheapest Black and White Film Money Can Buy (Ultrafine Xtreme 400 Review)
You sum up the pro's and con's really well. I find on the street that people don't know if I am a tourist with and old film camera or what. I urge people not to be put off by the con's, they are well known and you get get round them. Although it takes great pictures in full auto, it shouts at you "use me in manual, use your brain, experiment it costs nothing". I also feel that when I take it out with me, I am carrying a little bit of history, a collectable item that has a hidden secret, after all these years its still a great camera.

Thanks for the review. As for now, I'm still keeping my old and trusted X100S.
hey, where do u get the case?
It plays music?! I've had this camera for a hot minute and never even paid that any attention. Love this camera!
I must try this film! Looks exactly what I have been searching for.
And some really nice photos!

Nice guy, Great pics. Thank you
I think the best aspects of this camera are the output from the X-Trans 1 sensor which, as you suggest, has a unique quality and the form factor - if you want the 35mm equivalent field of view, this is the smallest form factor with an X-Trans sensor (I think). You're spot on with the lens though - it's not great at F2. Enjoyed the video!
The S actually has the xtrans cmos II sensor
@@bijosn You're right of course. My mistake. X-Trans 2.
The Fujifilm X100V has 7 custom user presets which you can put in kodak recipes etc, how many does the X100S have.
It. only has 3 custom user pesets
That's cool project, I like the end where we find out why it's called I'd Rather Miss Out on a Tuesday Night :DD
Thank you for this! I just found on on the side of the road(family was moving) and I'm so overly stoked to have my own film camera. I have twins and always wanted to take pictures of them and no I can! Are there any recommendations on lenses?
I got the same camera but on the back has a little screen, i found it in a barn, but idk what it does...

How do I use the Canon Rebel S with black and white film? Do I need to change anything on the settings? Thank you.
Hey Stefano Eastman XX never had a halation layer. It’s just an old-school film which tends to have this blooming effect. It definitely needs the correct developer. Developing times seem to be longer so using something like CineStill DF96 is going to destroy a film’s highlights and shadows. For this film I even recommend something like a Pyrocat or Pyro 510 developer with minimal agitation.
My dad had one for years. After he passed away, I took ownership. I wasn't sure what to do with it, since I didn't know much about it other than "My dad used it." Well fortunately RUclips has put me on a film rabbit hole and got me pretty excited about filmography...so now I have this to get started with! Pretty excited.
The issue with your first rolls is not because the film was stored incorrectly but because a great change in temperature occurred during development. Maybe your water was much colder than your developer.
My shutter is stuck after putting the film any help
Amazing!! So a lens fabricated in the 80s with auto-focus, or more recent; could work on Nikon FE?
without the auto-focus obvious, but the mount works right. (?)
Gold is fine, it can easily shoot at 50, 400 and 800, Kodak themselves have always been proud of that latitude. Indoors, use a FL-D filter. Outdoors, use a stronger UV, Haze or CPL to get more contrast detail. Or an 80a filter to give it that blueish cooler look similar to Ektachrome slide film.
"Отстой" - а не сравнение.
Very good production. Quite relaxing and enjoyable! I wish you could describe more about your on the go experience with the camera as you're taking photos. Also, address the audience to hit subscribe button!!!
Found an old one of these in my parents house with two zoom lenses, probably hasn't been used since the 90s, gonna get a replacement battery for it and see if it still works! Something very cool about old tech
Hi Stefano, thanks for the video. I've had my eye on the x100v for some time now but can't justify buying one since I already have an X-T2, X-T4, & XF10 😅, but then I see the older models pop up used for cheap and reconsider lolll. Also I'm from MTL - recognized our metro in the photo near the end. Cheers!
Hi David! Thanks for commenting. I took this camera on our honeymoon to Montreal. It’s quickly become one of our favourite cities! Good luck on your search for the perfect camera!
How do you like the xf10? I’m looking at that one or x100, or x70 (I just can’t justify $700 for a x70)
@@juanp9807 I still have it, still use it! My favorite little camera to take with me when I leave the bigger gear at home.
just got one for $6 hope to get a reusable flash for it someday if they exist!
Do you have a video of how to load the film into this camera please?
Im sry but your pics are boring af. Not a hater but an inspiration to think more about your composition and the idea behind the shot. Try getting closer to your objects and reading basic lines in your composition :)
Would you recommend this to somebody just starting out? I’ve heard great things about this and your review has me about ready to pull the trigger. Thx
Yes I think this would be great for a beginner to learn photography on. Cheers!
I am curious to see how Ultrafine Finesse compares, since Ultrafine Extreme seems to be no longer available.
I bought mine when I was about 13 thinking I was going to use it all the time and I’m only just getting round to it now but I cannot wait to get some use out of it - got mine for about £3 at a car boot sale
Found this camera in my dads closet awhile back but I just decided to bring it back with me to try and learn how to shoot with it.
Great video!
Expired ultramax.. I have a love / hate relationship with this film! Cool video mate. Interesting images. Cheers for sharing!
I like contrasty black&white shots!!
Big bang theory lookin ahh mfer. Very informative and chill video!
Thanks for sharing mate. I really want to develop at home- it looks like such a good developer!
One of my fave films, sadly, into 2021/22..very expensive.
Well, i know places whereas i could way easily buy Portra 800 since ages, but that's here into germany. But Portra 800 is way over the top from price, and 2nd, i do shoot mostly b&w, Tri-X, XP2 Super, HP5+, Acros, or CMS 20 II. Color, it's mostly Pro Image, or Ektar only. /edit Being wondering, whileas you do shoot ISO 800 Portra into day and sunlight, it's a good Film for avialable light, no offense.
Nice pics! I’ve wanted to do this tourist-in-my-own-town type shooting too so thanks for the inspiration!
Glad I could be some help!

Can you still transfer photos from camera to phone via wifi?
Unfortunately, no. It wasn’t till the x100t that they added that feature. If that’s an important feature for you I’d recommend the x100t instead. Thanks for watching!
you could get a sd card with wifi. I have an ez share for my canon 5d classic, it's been working good atm.
Hey does the film need to be In, in order to the flash to charge then work??
hey any reason why my flash doesn't light up and work/charge ?
Nice review, thx for going out there in this brutal cold freezing weather to shoot few samples, I have the camera and mostly i use it to shoot black and white , Great camera for street photography
I love the black and white from the camera! Thanks for watching it is much appreciated!
@@stefanoterrana8056 you welcome
Bro! As soon as you said Gold is readily available in 3packs at Walmart, I said: this is somewhere in Canada.
Canada: Land of the Kodak Gold 3 Pack
What battery does the camera use?
I believe x100s is the last & true fujifilm aps-c sensor Ed camera with genuine fuji hue & processing. I tried all the new fuji x line ups and only kept X70 and x100s for travel purposes. You can see when you use it's film modes on x100s & x70 that the true fuji film colour and film like outcome gets best produced prior to fuji's upgrade in cmos sensor starting x100f. Thank you very much for your review. Looks like you are in east coast. Stay warm and stay safe.
Just don't forget *the* original X100, which started it all, without X-trans, but 12 MP APS-C Sensor, presented at the Photokina 2010. I still like my X100 much.
I own both the X100s and Xpro3 as well as the xf10 and you are kinda right. You can pretty much recreate that look on an xtrans4 sensor tho. The X70 is not worth the price it’s going for imo. Which is sad because it is pretty cool.
@@marcp.1752 It’s crazy how usable that camera is today still!
@@oetproductions8101 Yes, i'd never sell my X100.

Ok, the camera takes 35mm film, so I am curious how you were able to scroll through your shots on a screen? I can assume how, but I don't like to assume.
These days, once you get your film developed, you can scan it so you have digital copies. It’s something I’m excited to get into this year for my wedding couples. All the nostalgia of the 90’s. :)
Hi! Thanks for watching. Great question! I made a video addressing this very thing. The Basics of 35mm Scanning ruclips.net/video/PhEX7ul3O0w/видео.html
Not knowing how old or how it was stored is a real problem when shooting expired film. I would’ve pushed it 2 stops
