NieR Automata OST - The Dark Colossus (Guardian Remix)
A remix of 'The Dark Colossus (Kaiju)' from the most wonderful NieR Automata OST.
I love this track, it is immensely powerful and encourages exactly the right mood for the battles in which it is used, just like all of Okabe's work.
I wanted a longer version of the track with some of the separate elements reshuffled and an intimidating organ lead-in. There's also a touch of the chorus from 'Mourning' mixed in as a bridge.
FYI, it gets loud after the intro.

Which language are the lyrics in and what are they? Sounds a lot like latin to be but I'm not sure (and tbf, I'm not a very good linguist). Please not just meme answers ;)
Its not an actual language but one created by the composer. Its called chaos language.

great remix overall, though I wish you evened out the volume instead of increasing it after the intro. Also, I love your placement of Mounring as a bridge, but i feel i like the original organ solo bridge better. There's a reason why Okabe chose that to be the bridge in the original retail release of the track.
This picture for the song reminds me of the fight of a certain boss i dont like or game i hate from the sonic era can anyone guess what im talking about but the music of this is good unlike the song of the sonic game

What’s the name of the original
So, question to anyone applicable: despite never watching anything related, this popped up on my feed. I heard some good things about NieR, but I never really wanted to get into it initially. As someone who has little to no interest in anime stuff, is this game worth trying at some point? Can I get it and enjoy the game itself without also having to enjoy anime or similar stuff?
In short, yes u can enjoy the game without watching the anime first. Works for the opposite the game and anime have different flow of story. This is intended by the creator of nier:automata so we can enjoy both without feeling bored or already know what will happen next.
Yeah, you can. This game doesn't have too many of the generic Anime tropes or clichés, and it may sound surprising, but aside from 2B's character design, there's little to no fan-service in the game.
the bell sounding from 1:51, very drakengard. i've been listening to the dark apocalypse version of Kainé recently, love how it's mixed with drakengard ending e's music, every time that bell comes up in anything nier related its like a reminder of why all this happened

As soon as I heard this open in game I swore this was shadowlord so hard that I woke my husband up. I was waiting for a Shadowlord mix for the entire game and I never got one. I was so mad. It was close enough though.
