Could of use some jazz music, us to sleep, lol thanks , oh ,,p.s. go over and check out C&C equipment,Clint the owner and sells and builds equipment, check him out , for all of your parts and Jeep needs , they have a large fleet of all kinds of jeeps from flat fender tonight giants, thanks BigAl California.
Big job I just hope you billed it appropriately. The 57 stone with fines I hope. Clean 57 doesn’t compact very well.
@@joeykunz $3 sqft. Yes for fines. Plus it does also bind well with the crushed concrete sub base.
Looks great 👍🏼
Amazing video showcasing the step-by-step process of this particular job! Great work Cleared to Land/Scape team 💪
It leveled out real nice, the pad and the fresh clean stone looks great, well done.
Clicked on this video just to comment that I love the name cleared to landscape and honestly not even gonna lie I'm stealing that 😂
I'm a pilot and my wife came up with it. She gets the credit. 😁
What was the total cost of the job?
I don’t know if the home owner would like me to share that. But what I can tell you is $3 a square foot installed for the rock driveway plus land clearing. It is several times cheaper than concrete.
with that beast,2 hours 15 minutes
Yep! 2.5hrs. Done. Now haul off.
6 acres is a sizeable job
Sure was, several hundred stumps of planted pine.
I think it took 4hrs to mulch
2.2hrs for those sections. Total project was about 8hrs Mulching.
I have 1100 hours on my machine I have used a Milwaukee impact to put teeth on and to take teeth off since day one never had a tooth come loose never had a bolt even loosen up
Respectfully, this is a teaching video. I would never teach someone to guess especially at torque. Too tight it can stress the bolts and drum. I’d rather just follow the engineer’s calculations.
I'd be concerned about how the contamination got in there
It sat for a few months on an empty tank. Algae would be my guess.
Haha! It’s my neighbors machine. And I use it occasionally on driveways.
They paint them green so you can’t see them broke down in the woods
👏👏
Wow!
How do you know when to replace the blades. Shearex never really give me a straight answer that made sense
You to turn the backup alarms off for your videos. They are very distracting and annoying! Thank you. Just turn them back on when you’re not filming. Keep up the good work and make more and longer videos.
If you can tell me how to do that I will. I’ve been wanting to know how to do that. Haha
And longer? I have some coming up!
I’ve pulled heavier with my single rear wheel truck
Have fun with that when you blow a rear tire at 75 mph with a full load.
Have you tried the shearex carbides yet?
I have not. I may like them. However, I like shredding with knives. You can attack larger material faster.
Amen praise Jesus ❤
Beautiful job
Thank you! It was great fun! It’s what we aim for on every job.
Oh BTW. If this doesn’t fix it, just unplug the speed sensors.
I'm confused at the design. Your driveway is also too loose where you need way more clay, sharp-sand, & crushed-concrete or limestone to fill in all the small spaces to maintain a 4% crown. Gravel roads should last 5-7 years with a pretty 4% crown. I don't understand the slope of your land. IMO there is such little slope that you probably just need an 8 inch dual-wall pipe that you could put holes in as a long-long-long rock-inlet that could even run down the center of that very-loose-gravel driveway where you could use the driveway as the drainage to keep the lawn. When you get up to 8-inch smooth-wall pipe it can self-clean with almost no-slope. I have a quite large drainage-playlist of my favorite drainage lessons here on YT.
1. Why do you say it’s loose? The driveway was brand new when we installed the drainage system. I think that’s what you may be observing. It’s packed hard now that the crushed concrete has been rained on and is now knit together with the above #89 and #57 rock. However, it is a little loose in the back where I haven’t driven over it much. 2. Grade. In order for the water to flow correctly it is my understanding that it needs at least a 1% grade. Since there is no grade over the 230’ span of the drive way from the front to the back of the property we used a dry-well system. The point of the dry-well system is functionality and aesthetics. Not having an exposed system in the middle of the drive. As most customers would prefer in a residential setting. 3. I didn’t know that about an 8” pipe. But that was out of the budget. Thanks for your input.
@@clearedtolandscape The driveway looks loose & is sounds very loose with the footsteps. The reason you don't want loose rocks is b/c they don't stay how you need them plus they're a safety hazard if you need to stop a vehicle on loose rock or turn on loose rock. If you look in my drainage playlist I have a video in there that explains the 4% crown required for dirt or gravel roads to reduce soggy-road that will pump into potholes. I'd need to see the water-table & Ksat rating of your soils to design a drainage system. That flat land looks quite challenging. I get 4.5 inch flash-floods so when I speak negatively of setups near me I actually get enough rain to say 'I told you so'.
Looking good!
Good job guy!

I never, ever take out young oaks (white, red & pin) if they have the beginnings of making a nice canopy in the future. Of course I understand the customer makes the rules..........just a personal preference. Great video 👍!
A never ending saga with these 135’s😢
It’s all good. Great machine. Served the business very well over the past 400hrs.

30min north of Savannah, GA. Didn’t see any clay.
Where are you? That soil is very sandy, is there black clay under it?

Love these type of videos!
As do we!
Nice video!
Milwaukee has a new one coming out any day, shorter and a little fatter with crazy numbers, torque test channel has a video about it. You may be able to retire that torque wrench😊
Love the Shearex heads!
Best head ever and customer support. Stay tuned for some awesome videos here very soon.
they look cheap
So come to find out the Diamond Back Tires are only 5 ply. They should be at least 10 for a 25,0000”lb GVWR trailer. Dr. tire put 14 ply on there.
@@clearedtolandscape yeah I love Wasserman works like a professional every damn time
Everone. Pulls the cap I have never seen anyone show the problem maybe not a problem at all
How’s it holding up, I found a dealer a few hours away selling them for 36k No one around me is using them so no one to ask for feedback.
It’s a tank. Well built. Mark flew from Canada to pair the mulching head to the machine. Good customer service.
Great video 👏
I’m relatively green when it comes to duallys, ramping up what I know by the day. So forgive me for the silly question, but why doesn’t RAM release a 4500 other than a C&C?
My guess would be a market for them. Great Machine. My dad just purchased one that has a motor home built upon it.
How long do the teeth on the shearex last you roughly?
I got 150hrs off the last set, and still had a little life left. It's important to know what your are doing when sharpening them. Too long and the teeth get too hot and it changes the hardness of the steel affecting the longevity of the teeth. These are Amazing. But you have to keep them sharp. There are many factors impacting teeth longevity. Such as technique, material processed, sharpening frequency, and the soil conditions the teeth are operated in.
@@clearedtolandscape I highly appreciate the reply! Very informative and I just purchased my first Shearex head. Is there a good video to watch on sharpening the teeth? I know the techs showed me how to prevent heating the teeth but I’m still not great and sharpening them.
Yes there is! ruclips.net/video/u9likuBEsrw/видео.html
Congrats! But forget about drive thurs
Sam, My wife makes the best lunches haha. I just have to look out for the power lines.
Very informative, great work Robyn!
Thank you, I love mechanics and teaching .
Great and informative content! Great work Cleared To Land/Scape!
Thank you!
Easy work!
Would be easier with another machine. haha
Do you need a CDL for that set up?
To my understanding yes. Since trailer and truck GCVWR EXCEED 26k and is not a recreation vehicle.
Yep, but you can drive a 52ft motor home with a 35 fttrailer behind it without a cdl. So stupid 😂
Great work, y’all! 💪🏻
Thank you 🙌 looking to purchase a Mini -X this year. Just need to get some more jobs lined up.
