The R1250GS 32600km with 5 years. During inspection, it was found that the Steering Damper Ring was worn. The Steering Damper Ring and Foot Shift Lever Plastic Washer are parts that are prone to wear.

Regarding the exhaust valve it is for noise and emissions. Anything with "extra torque" is nonsense. It traps the exhaust gases in the combustion chamber longer. 請問2021RX車型 踩煞車會有乖乖叫的聲音是正常的嗎？買車的時候就稍微有聲音了，最近才變比較大聲
天氣冷，濕氣重，偶爾會有。
I am not understanding how the switch works. Is it a 3 position switch? Why would you want to have it closed all the time? Can you tell when it is opened all the time? Before this newer model thee same switch was offered in a 2 position not 3 position. Thank You!
@@ericjames7680 Because if the valve is fully closed, the engine will overheat. So I only choose the valve fully open or the original factory mode. I modified the wire of the switch. Three lines become two lines.

Sorry to point out , your 16mm torque adaptor wrench should really be 90 degrees to the torque wrench to give an accurate torque setting - just a small point , good video though Gary UK
I know. My snap on torque wrench has set the length offset.

Why did you replace the headlight? I'm having a problem with my gs with adaptive headlights. The low beam doesn't turn on. I don't know if it's controller related or wiring issue. High beam works fine though.

LH side Coolant drain plug in crankcase M10 x 1 is 10 Nm. RH side is 5Nm.

Why change the coolant? Looks ok to me.
With aluminium you need to replace it every few years, or the inner walls will start to oxidize. Same with cars

This can be easily done using the GS-911 diagnostic tool.
My R1200GS LC had a bad right side rattle that went away with slight rpm increase. I have a video of it. Found the problem when the stator failed. It fell loose inside the motor and was making contact with the magnets which in turn was making the timing chain jump. Any rpm increase made it go away. It had the local BMW shop baffled, Two out of three broken stator bolts found holding it together when I took it apart. One used stator and the problem was solved. took all winter to rip the bike in half.

The front shock is not installed backwards. It is a new design. Easy to adjust soft and hard.
