You mean the unmarked spot down the road? I remember the first time I heard about it from some other guys fishing nearby. I pulled up and there were papers everywhere (on the ground and stapled on trees) saying “DO NOT FISH” cause it was contaminated. I Area full of dudes fishing. I said “Y’all not worried about these signs?” One dude said “I ain’t never pulled out a three headed fish” and they all laughed. I said I’m good and dipped 😂

@@ZephyrFishing many years ago, you could go there and fish for sharks or whatever you wanted, all night long, without paying a fee. With the park fee in effect, the park should be open 24/7.

@@ZephyrFishing at Ft. DeSoto, they don't want to attract sharks close to the beaches. Bad for tourism. That's what the park rangers told me. Not sure if shark fishing is prohibited at the Bay pier.

Under the bridge is nice and shady but gotta know where to throw to avoid snags
